People find food and a roof over there heads. Despite other conditions, Pallet Town is way better than traveling out in the open. It does its job as a safe oasis. A few critical issues do stand, but citizens just have to overlook them in order to get by. Fretting over them will only lead to dramatic trouble. There are too many problems and fighting will only fuel the fire. These problems consist of small rations of food and water. Pallet Town does not have many citizens, but the place is overcrowded given the small vicinity. The place does not have any attraction. Small puddles of radioactive waste are common. This goes the same for hookers and beggars. A worthy challenge if you can get to one side to the other without being asked for a fun time or for some food scraps. The biggest annoyance is the cult following in the middle. A small group of protesters gathers around the center of the town to voice their opinions on their new found religion. It is common for the Week of Hell is the cause of almost 50 new religions. Most of the buildings or shelters are built on stilts. Even then, the wall surrounding Pallet Town is incredibly high. No normal human could possibly jump over it without some serious leg power. The walls are formed by different scraps of metal; it is durable against the creatures on the outside. All in all, Pallet Town is a tolerable place to live in. A band of men constantly guard the gate during night and day. They are led by a hyper-macho enforcer. If anything, the man is the living embodiment of the law. Though he means good, he does not allow anyone to leave Pallet Town without his permission. Only the men in his pocket are allowed to scavenge for materials or visit the outside. There are a few buildings of interest. A small pharmacy is located in the center of town. Another building is a storage place where citizens go to collect their hard-earned rations. The best hang-out spot would have to be the restaurant. A bar is on the outside and does have a local radio which serves as the town's main source of entertainment. Inside the restaurant, people can buy more food if rations have not fully filled them.
