Jonathan McCallen
Jonathan woke up abruptly. His eyes adjusted to the dim lighting of the town. It had been relatively early in the morning, probably a result of his training back when the world hadn't gone to hell yet. He rubbed his eyes, rubbing the leather mask that covered his face instead. Unfortunately, it didn't not do the trick and he had to blink a lot of times before sighing. He rose from the rug-like bed that has been one of the few luxuries this place had and then picked up his metal pipe. Testing its weight again and feeling as if he was carrying a feather, he nodded to himself. Recently, he hasn't been granted access to the outside world. He's been a traveler for a while so when he attempted to exit the town, he was surprised when the guards practically pushed him back inside. The man who led the police force told them specifically that he needed his permission. Finding no opening to talk to him, Jonathan decided that maybe he'll just stay here for a while until he gets that opening. He wasn't very happy about it at first but he has gotten around to talking with the other residents. He has yet to visit the half-spider girl from that store. He figured that she was somehow like himself so he wanted to talk to her about it but Jonathan didn't know what was the perfect time to actually approach her. "Spare some change for a poor old beggar?" Jonathan looked over to the old man who had his hands outstretched towards him. Jonathan blinked and frowned, finding himself at a mental impasse. On one hand, he wanted to help the beggar out; on the other hand, he had little money left. While he looked at him with confusion, the old man only saw Jonathan looking down on him. Spitting on his suit, the old man said, "Well fuck you too." The old beggar stomped out of the way and Jonathan was left in absolute confusion on what had transpired. Jonathan felt sorry for the old guy and had wanted to chase after him but just continued on. Hopefully, they don't make him do anything through the use of force. He didn't like hurting anybody. He found himself near a pool of radioactivity to get his fill. He sat down beside it and watched as people went by. They already grew accustomed to Jonathan being near one of the many radioactive pools in Pallet Town. In fact, they generally left him alone after he explained that he needed it. After a while of absorbing radioactivity and just generally resting, he stood up and began to wander around. After all, the famous hang-out spots Pallet Town offers are generally for those who actually eat. While Jonathan would want to eat, he doesn't exactly have a way to do so. How very unfortunate. Maybe he should talk to that leader now; he needed to go to 'The End' to see what he can find out there.
