The why for this quick choice of wording isn't exactly mysterious , as the behaviour of the young male is nowhere near what one would expect from the somehow aloof aura and constantly apathetic expression he wears while in the process of accepting requests, being, in fact, the exact opposite of what his emotionless facade tries to demonstrate: carefree, easygoing and surprisingly unruly, Grisia has been recognized by his friends as an individual known by his inherent disposition towards lazing around, often acting while ignoring his dutied and obligations in favour of simply napping around or wasting his time with similarly pointless things, from seemingly harmless activities such as cloud gazing to completely irresponsible acts such as messing around and drinking with strangers while undercover in a foreign country, completely ignoring the fact that he lacks any permission to be there. In truth, though, Grisia isn't that far from being the heartless monster that many of those who only saw his emotionless and stern act think - for he is, after all, a street urchin who actually had to struggle to maintain his life since the very start of his life, and as such, he is not only capable of killing without a hint of remorse and hardly taking it as something big but also seems to actually enjoy the act of fighting, taking pleasure out of bloodshed and seemingly enjoying fighting to the point of clearly showing a grin when struggling against an equally strong or stronger than himself opponent - something that he regards as naught but a "bad habit". That being said, Grisia isn't actually a psychotic monster or anything of the genre, having quite the gentle and outgoing personality when out of the battlefield - to the point of being previously regarded as a flirt by some of his companions, assumption that was quickly countered by how he seems to be easily made flustered by bold women - and easily getting along with people, often finding himself happily joking and messing around with a group of strangers that he never talked with before a few minutes after meeting them. History: Born from unknown parents who he never meet and raised amidst the savagery of the slums located in an independent city of Rhodes, Grisia is what most people would call a miracle - for living 17 years without becoming either a criminal or a body was something unimaginable when considering his previous experiences - who lived through all the street urchin gangs (rats, as they were dubbed) fights, struggle for food and overall dangerous environment of the slums. What made him so different from the thousands of other orphans and street urchins who had the same background and poor luck? Easy: Talent - for he was, after all, a natural thief who could already bypass the senses of an experienced adventurer and take away just enough coins for they not to notice from their pockets even before he reached adulthood... And this was exactly what gave him the opportunity to escape from the hellish slums. It was in one of his "working moments" - as he liked to call the act of mixing with a crowd and relieving some specially wealthy looking travelers from part of their wealth - back when he was around twelve years old that he managed to, by sheer lack (or maybe excess) of luck, get caught. He didn't mess up with the act, of course, perfectly taking what he wanted from his target and preparing to get away with it when one of his target's companions noticed his act and, with all the skill of a C ranked adventurer, caught him before he could run away - no need to say that this was the equivalent of death for a rat, for no one really cared about the death of someone without any background and as such he could, and most certainly would, easily be killed without any repercussions... Or so he thought. Turns out that instead of being killed, Grisia was recruited by the person he tried to pickpocket, a man he'd later know aa Briggs. Turns out that Briggs and his two companions - a female human mage named Roselia and a male half-elf ranger named Alvin - were actually an adventurer party passing by, with Briggs himself being a B ranked adventurer and his companions being C ranked and even more surprisingly they were interested on him, for the simple fact that he was able to bypass Briggs awareness - even if due to his own lack of attention - in despite of his young age was already more than enough to impress the adventurer, motivating him to ask the youth to join them as a junior member - something that he obviously accepted to do, for it was not like he had other choice to start with. For the following two years, he accompanied the adventurers in their adventures, learning and sharpening new skills in the process - including social ones, previously unimportant for him - and for the first time knowing how a family felt, until the day were the moment of parting ways finally came, for the now completely B ranked party - with the other two members succeding in attaining this rank in the period of two years - left Grisia behind in the adventurer's guild of Swynport to depart in an adventure impossible for them until that moment: The now B ranked party was out to explore Morburne. The result? They never came back, leaving Grisia behind to become a solo adventurer for the following three years as they completely disappeared after entering the cursed land of the demons - and thus making going there and discovering what truly happened with them the young male's main, if not sole, objective. Magic: Spatial Magic - Grisia has started learning Spatial Magic since around a year ago, having some minor proficiency in using it - though he doesn't seem to be really skilled as of now, with Blink being the only spell he can use in combat.
Blink: A minor teleportation spell capable of instantly moving the user to any point inside his field of view. Mostly used for enhanced mobility and sneaking.
Skills: Capable Swordsman - Having been using a falchion himself for the last three years and gaving received training in wielding a sword for 2 years before that, Grisia can somehow wield swords satisfactorily by now - though he's nowhere near the level of a knight or even a classically trained individual in technique alone. Dagger Wielding - Grisia is unsurprisingly skilled in using daggers and similarly stilled weapons - a skill common to pretty much every single street urchin in tue slums. Throwing Technique - Grisia seems to be specially skilled when it comes to throwing knifes and daggers as well as other random tools, from interesting gadgets to rocks, having an abnormally keen accuracy and finesse when using throwing weapons - a result of years using this technique as a makeshift way of defending himself from the bigger children who tried to steal his earnings. Thief Skillset - Being an experienced thief trained since childhood, Grisia has acquired a plethora of skills related to robbery as a whole, including but not restricted to lockpicking, stealth, trap detection and even dismantling. Abnormal Awareness - Due to how he constantly had to pay attention to his surroundings in order to stay alive in the slums as well as all the uses this ability had for an adventurer, Grisia developed the ability/habit of constantly paying attention to everything around himself to the point where he hardly miss even minor alterations in the space around him. Enhanced Agility - Being created in such an hostile environment and having a naturally lean - and thus physically weaker - body type, Grisia became truly skilled in the art of dodging and running away, being no stranger to acrobatics, climbing and contortionism. Equipment: Blue Eagle - Magic Grade A blue colored falchion enchanted with the ability to expand it's length to a certain extent and reduced weight. Normally assumes the form of a common, 80 cm long falchion, being capable of expanding to up to 2 meters long without any change in weight. Throwing Daggers - Common Grade, 12 units Your simple, everyday throwing daggers. Favoured weapon of thiefs and assassins alike. Anything Else: TBD
