Rafe was raised there with (22) Jain and (20) Hector and they know each other because of it no one there was called orphans, they were Kids and because kids need structure to keep them busy they had more access to books and the sports gym when the troopers weren't training in it.

Picture the Municipal complex as a cluster of three buildings One was County Business offices which was turned into the creche, a 3,000 seat theater and a Gym indoor Basketball court 2,000 with attached exercise center and indoor Olympic pool. We all learned to swim in that pool, it was required learning to move up from 2nd to 3rd phase in school (2nd is 5th through 7th year: 3rd is 8th through 10th year)

You are all adults at 16 in Lasthope so school is only 10 years many becoming apprentices at 12 and adding weight to their learning
