I think I can answer this a bit.

From my discussion with Spirit when I was making Isil, it is in fact, entirely possible. I first considered having Isil use Restoration magic in that way to begin with, though I ended up doing something else with her since I took her character in a slightly different direction.

Spirit can tell you a bit more about it of course, but I know he said it's possible to actually reopen a recently healed wound with restoration magic.
