I made a wannabe superhero monster

Bohmy, aka ThunDare
Age: 19 Appearance: Bohmy is an anthropomorphic white rabbit, a rather common sight in their home, a middle of nowhere farming town. Other than her athletic build, little distinguishes her from the people she grew up around. As Thundare however, she dons a yellow and blue spandex super suit, along with a matching mask to hid their identity. The most notable features on their super suit are the fluffy legwarmers, roff and cotton tail that are used as static charge generators. Around her waist she wears a belt hosting lots of little pouches containing various superhero essentials. Gender: Bohmy is Female, but people sometimes think ThunDare is a guy. Personality: Bohmy: is rather naive and something of a fangirl of the tournament. New to the big city they are still getting accustomed to all the sights, sounds and people that are found within. Generally cheerful and optimistic she’s always ready to lend a hand to those in need, though she can come off as a little shy. Her strict self imposed training regime has left her a little awkward in social situations due to the resulting lack of friends growing up. ThunDare: putting on the mask lets Bohmy hid her lack of social graces behind her ThunDare persona, bold, confident and brave. the energy coursing through her super suit makes her physically feel more powerful than she does without it, adding to her self confidence. Thundare is, in essence, a straight up golden age superhero, always ready to do the right thing and to keep smile in the face of danger. Biography: Born in a small rural town Bohmy grew up, like so many others, watching fighting tournaments on their family's tiny tv. While all the fighters were awesome in their own rights, the ones she truly admired were the ones who the ones who build heroic personas and would sometimes show up in the news as responding to disasters or crimes because they reminded her of the superheros she read about in comics. She loved to see them overcome those who seemed to only be in the tournaments for fame, fortune or selfagrandisment. For some, this would be a fascination that would be outgrown, replaced with the rigors of life. But not for Bohmy, it was not enough to admire and be inspired by the hero’s she saw on that small screen, she wanted to be one! From the age of 12 Bohmy trained and trained and trained. When she wasn’t in school or helping on the family cotton farm she was weightlifting, doing exercises and, more often than not, running. She even found himself a mentor of sorts, an old seamstress who back in her heyday had competed in tournaments, though had never gotten very far. She, along with some borrowed books, taught her the basics of kickboxing and helped her make her costume, including the special cotton fluff that let her increase the punch of her own rather weak electrical power. Finally, at the age of 18 she was ready to start her heroic exploits. The thing about small towns is that, apart from getting skitty’s down from trees or giving directions to lost travelers there's not much a hero to do. The most exciting thing they were involved in was breaking up an almost bar-fight after a particularly contentious referee decision in a tournament the patrons were watching on tv. After a year of this they were becoming increasingly frustrated with the lack of action and so set out to Brass City. There they hoped to find somewhere where they could apply their skills better and also hoping to possibly meet the heroes who inspired them in the first place. Fighting Style: They are a fragile speedster, preferring to stay light on their feet, ducking and dodging an enemy's attacks before darting in for a quick jab or kick and then going right back to dodging. When forced to stick in place ThunDare relies on quick, rapid fire punching where they deliberately hold back the charge in order to build it into a single knockout blow. While she is decent in a 1 on 1 duel, where ThunDare really shine is in chasing down villains, building up speed to catch up with them and deliver a stunning blow. Against groups of foes they dart from one opponent, building charge as they travele, zapping someone and then switching target to build up another shock. Type: Static Electricity: Builds up electrical charge by moving, increasing their movement speed up until they land a hit, which unleashes a devastating kinetic shock with it’s strength based on the charge that ThunDare has have built up before landing the blow. However, they lose all their built up energy in the process, and have to rebuild their speed. The charge level is visible on their person, with currents of electricity flowing from the fluffy static batteries found on their legs, tail and around their neck. Inventory: Super Suit: an Identity masking outfit that helps ThunDare in using her static electricity power using specialized static electricity batteries. It also gives her some shock resistance as the cottony fluff can absorb some of electrical attacks, potentially fully charging ThunDare in an instant. Crime fighters tool belt: a utility belt featuring all those little items every superhero needs including: zip ties, a flashlight, rope, a grappling hook, [s]shark repellent,[/s] handcuffs, pepper spray, smoke pellets, a first aid kit and many other small situational items you could fit in the pouches.
