He could hear the light footsteps of his wolf behind him, her cushioned boots whispering on the gravel. Ignoring the outside noises he made his way into the manor, through the smoothly opening doors and into the foyer. Perhaps he should go to the library and do some study? HA! What an absurd thought! Glancing to the right he spotted a neko walking quickly away from the drawing room, trays in hand. His mother was probably having some guests over. Not in the mood for the doting women showering his with compliments whilst also trying to pawn off their own daughters, or son in one case. Taking the long way round, down past the statue of his father and the painting of the lily lake, he arrived at the entrance to the lounge. Alysia was waiting around on the stairs near he lounge, but he waved his hand dismissively and strolled in. He smirked at the sight awaiting him. His new pet, his Gen 3, was perched on the pouffe. Can't afford to lose face to Darren Winterhold now can we!"
● Seraphina ●
{ Seraphina diligently followed her master all around the house, shadowing him faithfully. She felt a mild headache coming on, but it was nothing to worry about. Her fellow Gen 1's suffered headaches almost all the time when they hit 20, she still had another year before having to worry about burning up as her genetic code unraveled. Shuddering at the thought, she shook her head, heavy ears flopping with the movement. She reached up to brush them back, but she froze in the entrance to the lounge at the sight of colourful critter lounging across the chair. Regaining her composure quickly, she scowled at the 'pet' infront of her. Glancing back, she noticed Alysia sitting near the stairs. Meeting her gaze she rolled her eyes, indicating a mutual dislike of the petty, sickly sweet fox currently playing up to the master. "Seraphina, go fetch some tea" she heard her master call from the room. "Of course sir, right away" she responded, before ducking out the door again. "Want to come with?" she whispered to the pine marten, her bitterness at this mornings hunt faded in light of the new interloper.
