Daphne hadn't expected Harper to talk to her. She never spoke to many people on board the ship, aside from her sister and the Captain, maybe the preacher on occasion but that was about it. Though, this was probably a good opportunity for her to get to know him somewhat. She had no knowledge to really go off of, aside from when he was showing her what to do on-board the Retribution. Daphne hadn't really had any interaction with the man, and it made her wonder about him.

I started working to become a pilot around 6 years ago,"[/color] she said to him, though, she figured that she proably shouldn't have mentioned him being kind of old. He looked only a few years older than her own sister, though she always called Dorothy old, at least occasionally anyway. She looked at Harper, trying to see what his reaction to being called old.
