For a moment her heart stopped, her whole body frozen in fear, caught in a moment of tension. However, as the rifles lowered, she unfroze, corrected her stance, and promptly approached the duo. She nodded, rifle now resting at her hip, loosely gripped in one hand. "Likewise. If I'm honest I'm just a little worried he's not the last one we'll see around these parts. Could be a party sent out to kill those who stuck by their pods, meaning one might be trying to follow me." She didn't want to create tension where it wasn't due, however certainly wanted her thoughts to be known to someone of a superior rank. The thought of a kill squad coming out after dropped ODSTs was a concern Rylei's, especially seeing how late she awoke. She wanted to talk to Kensington, however there was something... off about her. She appeared agitated, hostile. Rylei raised her hand to deny the offer of water, hoping the medic would get the gesture. As the duo turned to face the newcomer -- a marine, by the looks of things -- she noted where her weapon was aimed. Rylei, on the other hand, barely lifted her rifle, and chose to keep her calm so the marine wouldn't be spooked. "Don't worry, private. We've got some kind of plan figured out." Kensington seemed to be taking care of things, at least, calling the marine over and searching through her things for what Rylei assumed were meds of some kind. She wasn't awfully experienced in the medic field herself, as that was largely Chloe and Laslow's profession, so she let the other woman do whatever it was she needed to do to patch up the marine. Meanwhile, Rylei paid attention to Lucas' monologue as he scanned the Elite, watching the treeline while he did... whatever it was he was doing. "Funny. Something similar happened to me." Oddly, as Rylei tried to recall the details of her drop, she found her memory to be just a little lacking. She could remember the general gist of it, but noting down the details and specifics were hard. She paused a moment too long, before she quickly realised she was supposed to be giving her own account of the story. "Basically, my squad and I got in their pods on Stranger of Darkness and we were all ready to drop. I remember... something happened. I don't quite remember. I dropped before everyone else, and I believe they followed me out. I... collided with something. Could've been your pod. It sent me almost unconscious, but I managed to steer myself so I wouldn't land headfirst. After that I fell unconscious until just recently; I ate and drank, then came over here." She turned back around and crouched beside Lucas, removing her helmet to scan the Elite up close. There was something really different about it. Something she didn't like. "So, uh... what's up with this one?" She didn't know quite how to reciprocate her question properly, however hoped Lucas understood what she meant.
