While she would have preferred a simpler and less invasive method of summoning the group (An intercom? Text message, maybe?), she couldn't doubt the efficiency. One of the conditions of her working here was for the psychics to stay out of her head as much as possible, but that order couldn't really be relayed to the Professor. It was his house, after all. Arriving in the garage, Nina's eyes met those who had already assembled. Many of them were students, kids that she hadn't formally met. Still, she'd read their dossiers. Marygold and Cassandra were present, as was a younger looking girl who could only be her sister, Carolina. Apparently she had the power of Astral Projection, which was certainly interesting - a paranormal phenomenon for most humans, it was curious to see the power manifest as a mutation. As for the rest of the garage... Oshea Jackson - super speed. His leg seems to have healed nicely. I wonder if Quicksilver ever had to apologise for that. Allison Andrews - future sight. Not much in the way of self-defence. Damon Fawkes - alive tattoos. They'd be interesting to study, in comparison to their real-life counterparts. Nina's gaze lingered on the tiger, suppressing the urge to roll her eyes. Obviously, this could only be Ayita. Nina didn't know why the girl was currently in this form, but all she could assume was that it was some form of showing off. Still, she couldn't be sure, so nothing was said. "Hello." She greeted the group with a nod, her expression neutral for the moment. "My name is Marina van Essenhout, but you may call me Nina. I'm not sure how much you've been told about me, but my mutation gives me super-strength. If you need aid on the battlefield, please take advantage of my powers and call for help. I'd hate to see anyone get hurt." As her small speech went on, her tone shifted from neutral to more empathetic. For all her personality flaws, Nina definitely had her heart in the right place when it came to matters such as this; these people deserved better than to be injured or killed by the likes of Magneto and his goons, and she would do everything in her power to avoid this. Glancing once more around the room, she saw a couple of unfamiliar faces - two boys, who were clearly new students. She thought it a shame for them to be thrust so suddenly into this issue.

Charlie Farrier
 [sub]Location: The Mansion[/sub]

Charlie nearly jumped out of his skin as the Professor's voice echoed in his head. He had been hunched over in a squashy leather seat, in one of the several living areas of the mansion. PSP in hand, playing Final Fantasy VII, and the volume turned up as loud as possible, blaring through his headphones. To have an ethereal voice echo over such loud music and sound-effects was chilling, and Charlie pulled his headphones down so they dangled around his neck, shuddering. He'd only been at the mansion for less than a week, and had only been told yesterday about his newfound involvement with the X-Men. Fighting crime had been the last thing he'd expected when arriving here - he'd thought he would just be going to school, chilling out, maybe getting some decent pocket money for the first time in half a decade. But the Professor had requested his assistance, and considering the offensive powers he had, and what Xavier had done for him, Charlie had begrudgingly agreed. He still had no real idea of what to do, but figured if he was in a team and they had a decent leader, he'd be fine. From what he'd heard, there were some agents from S.H.I.E.L.D present, and the last mission, Tony Stark himself had shown up. That excited - and calmed - him a good bit about his own involvement with the group, but the danger was still there. "Chill out. It'll be fine. You're working with professionals." He told himself firmly as he made his way to his room, turning off and putting his PSP safely away before heading to the garage. He couldn't risk getting his single form of entertainment damaged, no matter how boring the drive to the mission was. Speaking of, he had no idea how far away they'd be going. Or what they were up against. By the time he peeped into the garage, there were several people sitting around. Including... a tiger? Figuring he couldn't possibly look as out of place as a giant cat, Charlie walked into the garage fully, taking a seat by a blonde girl quietly after waving awkwardly at the others. He'd been briefly introduced to some of them when he first came here, but he'd been so stressed out that he'd completely forgotten their names. Except Marygold, of course - she was their de facto leader, from what he understood, and he gave her a nervous smile. By the time more people had filed in, including a woman from S.H.I.E.L.D who introduced herself and her powers (The tiny woman looked like the last person in the world to have super-strength, but Charlie took her word for it. Mutations were weird like that.), his nerves had jumped up a notch and he was jiggling his legs, playing with his hoodie drawstrings nervously.
