4/9 - Hinasho High - After School "Glad to hear it. I'll make sure you know when we've got lessons." Shison-kun had agreed to look into the dojo. Something to maybe keep him busy in this town. Almost as soon as he said so, though, Akamura showed up to invite him out. He didn't seem all that happy I was there too, though. Maybe he saw me as a stick in the mud or something. Didn't stop him from asking if I wanted to tag along, though. "I'll need to let my old man know about it, but sure. Why not? It's a chance to get to know the new guy, after all." I wasn't really planning to outright keep them from doing anything. Just wanted to be there so things didn't go too far, one way or the other. Maybe I was being a stick in the mud, but I couldn't shake the feeling that they might try something stupid. Before anything else, though, Shison-kun noticed someone nearby and recognized them. When I looked over, I could see the kid that had been passing out food earlier. He had stopped by after he had finished for his share of the food I brought, and I remember him saying his name was... "Ah, Watanabe-kun!" I waved him over when I saw him. He seemed nervous, but I couldn't tell why. Maybe he's not used to hanging out with others? "No need to be nervous, bud. Come on over." I remember he was all aglow when I first offered some food to share. He must have been really starving. "Hope my old man's cooking hit the spot. He's not the best cook, but it beats what the school hands out by a longshot." Part of me hoped he wouldn't get roped into going with us too, but all in all, it was his call.
