[@Joker892] The early morning sun shone directly into Raulphs eyes, his room was situated directly adjacent from the rising sun, the window was worse being tilted in a fashion that allowed the sun to shine in his room at any time of the day before noon. Raulph pulled a blanket over his face before hearing the morning trumpet, hordes of soldiers exited the compound and made almost as much noise as the drill sergeants, many of which were redfaced and shrieking at the poor kids in rifle companies, Raulph remembered those days. His morning was ruined with the sun and the noise, he would rather wake up later if at all possible, he sat up and rubbed his tears from his eyes, yawning. An hour later Raulph was in the mess hall, many of the men had gone through early morning PT and drill before breakfast, Raulph simply didn't need to unless he really wanted, however, he stays true to his roots and maintains his muscular build. Sausages and eggs, toast, last nights dinner, that was on the menu, military food was usually varying and much better than commoner food. A squad of grunts were talking about Raulph, they knew he was a pilot, plain as day, his pilot fatigues and rank denotes his place in the military, quite obviously, a pilot. He stood after finishing his meal and left the room, leaving the tray on the counter next to the kitchen, the other two pilots followed soon after, not so much his friends as they are his workmates, Finn and Diane. Raulph approached the huge armour storage unit, the front of the unit opened and inside stood hulking metal beasts lying dormant in wait of its pilot, Raulph was magically ascended to the top of his suit, an armour technician and his commanding officer were waiting near the hatch. "Ah, corporal, we were just talking about you." The lieutenant said as soon as he touched down, he was a nobleman, much like the rest of the officers, nobles would never become common soldiers nor would they take charge of rifle companies, but that's only the self centred nobles, there are plenty noble nobles but this one wasn't. "Sir.?", Raulph came to attention, the officer waved and Raulph went back to his usual manner, the lieutenant rubbed his chin. "Were expecting an attack from Felbar very soon, but, not now, hopefully, instead I'll have you go to the front and support the trench line with your team. Also, I'll have you bring them something to keep their spirits up, just some food and drink, nothing too special." "Sir, I have no problem with bringing the men food, but, how am I supposed to do that?" "Simple." The technician said, "we'll strap it to your legs." "excuse me?" "The crates of food will be tied around the ankles for easy access by the men." "ugh" The armour whirred into motion and straightened, one huge step and the suit was out of the unit, followed closely by two other suits belonging to Finn and Diane, when they stepped beyond the walls of the military compound the three diverged to different areas of the trench line, crates of tightly packed meats and fruits and grog hung on either side of the armours ankles, truly a strange sight. The trench line came close, Raulph pulled the brakes quite close, he could see the whole area, the trench line, the compound and the Felbar border, not a new sight, he'd been at the front lines before. Raulph turned on the magical speaker system, "Attention, this is corporal pilot Mauser, suit number two two four nine one zero, I have been assigned as armoured support in the front, you will find supply crates at my ankles, courtesy of the Grandian Armoured corps." he said this with a booming metallic voice, dramatic and unlike his own voice, now all that was left was to sit in the cockpit until he was called back.
