Hmmm, well usually it's better not to use someone else's character, even as a GM anyway.  I did have a sub-plot where undead researcher man was going to try and use Spooky's presence to try and awaken a powerful undead hidden in the Plains but at this point maybe it would be better for your character to just move on.  If he ever comes back that way he can pick up with Spooky wherever.
