Suddenly, you feel an intense pain building behind your eyes. You feel like something's inside your skull, and trying to break out. You're surrounded by a beam of light, as high in the sky, you see a massive glowing eye. For a moment, you see Fear, all the marble gone. It's covered in spider webs, large spiders crawling over the rooftops. Every citizen, a spider attached to their brain, as they stare at you mutely, each serving as the eyes of Kami. There's a slght smirk that spreads through the crowd like a wave, as thousands of tiny spiders crawl up from in between the bricks, latching onto your legs, crawling over your skin. The citizen's open their mouths, and more tiny spiders crawl out, entire flows of spiders swarming around you, covering you. The headache is worse, every breath you draw burning as though the air were acid, as you're forced to the ground, your muscles no longer responding. Everything goes black.

You wake up in Kami's throne room, as she smiles down at you. Around your chair stand 8 Death Priests, each silent, their hands behind their backs. Similarly, along the edges of the room stands a row of Death Priests. The floor is polished marble, and above are massive arches of gold. This room is larger than any you've ever been in before, although it has no windows. Upon an elegant glass and gold throne sits Kami, smirking down at you. "Dearie, I'm so glad you chose to join me here. Your friends from Hope are already under my control, but they're running into quite a pickle. Your help would be appreciated." Kami smiles down at you, and you're suddenly unsure whether anything you see or feel is real at all.
