	[color=C0C0C0]Mathias appears to be emotionless and serious during his job, unless something out of the ordinary or shocking happens. He is very detached in his manner of speech, and would rather not bring personal feelings to the table. He takes pride in his role as a bartender, and is always respectful towards guests, especially those in his good graces. Despite his position as a bartender, Mathias has very little understanding in regards to the emotions and motives of others. However, throughout his years as a bartender, he has developed an ability to care for his customers in ways such as cracking jokes in unusual moments which doesn't really work, or hugging them when they're desperate, congratulating them for their hard work in their lives. He tries his best to do the right things from his point of view, and doesn't hesitate to learn from other's point of view either. [/color]

[color=#696969]~History~[/color]
	[color=C0C0C0]Mathias's history is not one of tragedy, or wanting, or glory. He was raised simply by a blue-collar father and a teaching mother, both of whom showed him nothing but love and adoration his entire life. Mathias, however, always seemed to be a strange child, he didn't interact with others, although he didn't isolate himself either. From a young age Mathias knew he preferred to be a fly on the wall, watching and listening, rather than trot in the center of focus. However, he was able to understand one thing about people; lies. For a reason unbeknownst to him, Mathias could identify a liar with incredible accuracy, and he had never once been wrong.

	After finishing high-school Mathias got a job at a local Bar as a dishwasher, however he soon developed an interest in mixing and bar-tending. During his breaks Mathias would sit at the bar quietly reading the cocktail recipes and things of that nature, and before long he had gotten himself behind the bar. He was something of a prodigy and after a few months the once slow, hole-in-the-wall bar had become an increasingly popular location, and Mathias's name began to float to the ears of powerful people with a penchant for good drinks.

	It wasn't long until Mathias was working one of the most exclusive bars in Beacon Hills, wetting the whistle of anyone in Boston worth knowing. Despite his delicate surroundings however, Mathias retained his "Fly on the Wall" personality, and one day he overheard something he really, really shouldn't have. He had eavesdropped into a conversation between two fairly High-Ranking members of the Consortium, both of which had plans to make off with a hefty sum of cash from the Consortium's own leader, Hugo Maxwell. Suffice to say, they weren't particularly happy about Mathias's honesty regarding the situation, and he soon found himself at the top of a very large building. Then, he found himself falling from a very large building, and it was then that he discovered his Threads.

	After Mathias had [i]dealt[/i] with the two men, he made his way directly to Alverton Building, and requested an Audience with Hugo Maxwell himself. Under normal circumstances, Mathias would have likely had to have waited for an indefinite period of time, but when the building's security saw their favorite bartender covered in blood that clearly wasn't his, they escorted him in. Once he was face to face with Maxwell, he explained what had happened, and proved he wasn't lying by stringing up the men who had escorted him, and slicing them to ribbons without blinking an eye. Afterwards, he asked if Maxwell had any job openings for informants, interrogators, or hit-men, and he has been working for Maxwell ever since. [/color]

[color=C0C0C0][i]Blaster - Seven, Stranger - 4[/i]
Threads: Mathias can create and manipulate threads of thin, metallic substances that he uses in a manor similar to a puppeteer. These threads are strong enough to suspend objects of significant weight, and thin enough to slice through nearly anything he wishes. He's been seen to use his threads for a variety of tasks, including: Torture, Suspending People, Suspending Vehicles, Assassination/Murder, and even catching bullets. He seems capable of producing nearly infinite amounts of this "Thread," and appears to be able to control their degree of sharpness. 

Lie Detector: Mathias is able to immediately and accurately detect when someone is lying to him, in any and all circumstances. This ability is fairly worthless in combat, However Mathias's apathy tends to prevent fighting, and he predominantly uses this ability during interrogations.
