Well my magic is sort of a life force in that it shapes reality with the beliefs of the Sleepers and Awakened alike. Perhaps the Wayline is just what the Unguard call it. 

The world's usually have spirits that control them like Gaia and now Tiamat who once controlled the oceans, but God was the one who created everything.
