oh no no no no no. Tanganyika wouldn't be independent that early, and they don't have to be. The Germans, being at war with Britain, have a reason to help a Boer rebellion. All we are tweaking is how proactive the Germans are in Africa. Ethiopia's entire change hinges on "What happened if Iyasu V was more proactive about his Central Power leanings and the Germans helped out when the nobles rebelled". That kind of tweak is perfectly fine.
