[b]Biography:[/b] The origins of Apollyon remain a mystery though he is widely regarded as one of the oldest and most powerful vampires in the entire world. Despite his youthful experience, his vast experience in politics, military conflicts and economics has solidified his position and his clan at the top of the vampire hierarchy. Since recorded history it is assumed that Apollyon and his clan have long intervened in worldwide affairs, using their ability to dominate others to secure themselves unlimited resources and knowledge and influence the very world itself.

After years of infighting and petty squabbles, Apollyon achieved undisputed control of his clan around the rise of the Roman Empire and led a golden age that led to the domination of most of Europe along with the destruction of any threat that sought to overthrow him. But greed and lack of foresight saw the Roman Empire fall in particular with Apollyon once more having to scramble to pick up the pieces. Years of luxury and success had softened the clan and political infighting between the Ventrue and other clans along with Apollyon’s extended absence from the capital saw the mighty Ventrue searching for a new home.  Seeking to redeem himself for his greatest mistake Apollyon has lacked a permanent residence, consistently moving throughout Europe in an effort to stabilize his power and eliminate would be traitors and re consolidating his power throughout Europe. It is now in Constantinople that Apollyon arrives, having reunified his clan seeking to control the city while also preparing a possible intervention in the Holy Lands to profit of the Crusades.

Physical abilities: While all vampires have increased attributes such as increased speed and strength, Apollyon is placed on a tier exclusive to the oldest and most powerful of vampires. Perhaps only the exceptions of other races can hope to match him in combat
Domination: Apollyon despite his physical talents is gifted with incredible ocular powers that upon making eye contact Apollyon can dominate weak minded individuals to do his bidding place them under illusions. While those with substantial willpower can resist the vampire temporarily, it is usually only a matter of time till a victim is broken and left to the vampire’s mercy.

Telekinesis: Upon sight Apollyon has shown the ability to manipulate matter in a variety of ways whether it’s using it to throw an individual without making physical contact or pulling a victim to within his physical range. While capable of various strengths and methods, the ability is rather draining if overused and thus is relatively reserved for only the strongest of opponents.
