His plug suit sports a green stripe down its centre and red down each arm, while the rest of the material being black, apart from a few white highlights on his chest and back. His glasses are firmly planted on his face and he rarely takes them off, even if he doesn't need them all the time. Casually, he often wears long-sleeved shirts with his hair falling over his face, and trousers that are often just a little too long for him. Personality: Unbearably parsimonious in his beliefs and unconditionally himself, Yeshua strives to be the absolute perfect being. Every single moment, from his breathing to his blinking, is calculated. To point an end to his overthinking is something he could only overthink, while his lack of understanding of others is anything but perfection. Despite his complications as a human being, Yeshua excels at seeing things slightly differently, a step ahead by walking on the ceiling. But the world is upside down, and he's too scared of the floor to walk with others. Never running, but creeping everywhere, the boy is infantile in his actions, like a baby in a suit, but with twice the rage of a man - the rage of mediocrity, the rage of his embarrassment and the rage of his desires. Still, he possesses an inhuman intellect - inhuman being the nail hit upon the head, as for every passage into safety with his perception of reality, he is taken back by his undeniable lust for human compassion. History: Born Joshua in Dresden, Germany, the boy inherited a world in pain. His father was always absent, working for GEHIRN. And his mother, with long, flowing red hair and a smile that could be seen from the stars, glowing miraculously, only exists in fragments in Yeshua's mind. However much he tries to block it out, the face of his mother appears in everything and his father's voice looms over it. They were both so broken, and Yeshua couldn't help but blame himself. For if their life were so happy beforehand like he was told, then his birth signalled the end of their happiness. One of his earliest memories is being taken to the local swimming pool by his father, who couldn't swim. Even though he couldn't jump in, he stood from a distance, watching the child relax upon the top of the water. Then he started drowning. And nobody came to save him - except the lifeguard, who was paid to do so. His mother had made a decision very early in Yeshua's life, to side with his father. There was something about him, he knew, that disgusted both of his parents, and even though he emulated his father and his achievements at every turn, the mother would never smile at him the same way. There was something missing. Travelling to his Grandmother's cabin in the Alps at around 8 years old, the memory begins to become more vivid. An open library, larger than half of the public ones, and a woman of intense knowledge to study with. There was one book she placed great care in - the King James Bible, who she gave Yeshua when he first arrived. His father's contact slowly slipped away until there was nothing left to say between them - he no longer needed a father, and his grandmother was always caring. While studying and constantly improving, he matched the mannerisms of his carer, becoming sensible and elderly in his output. He was to be the first and the greatest of something new - and that started by understanding old. Joshua was to be Yeshua, its root, where things first began, and his grandmother supported that decision wholeheartedly. But her age caught up to her, and in time, became weak and fragile. She was not meant to support Yeshua's learning for much longer. Despite his successes in academia in the University of Munich which he had a scholarship in thanks to his father, he could not save his grandmother from falling down the stairs. And as she lay, in pain, unable to speak, he knew what he had to do. Travelling down to the local town, the snow had fallen away to the pragmatic glow of the sun. Grass was like a plague over the ground, but it smelt so sweet. But it was here that he was invited to NERV by a herald, and accepted, to even Yeshua's own surprise, without hesitation. A purpose, a way to achieve greatness, and a way to be better than his father in every way - he now had the opportunity to pilot Eva-02, all due to his own skill. It would be the best time of his life. Arriving at NERV-Germany, the boy quickly adjusted to his new climate, despite the odd looks from passers by. He knew why he was here, for he had been told numerous times; to be a pilot, and to save the Earth. He would pilot this machine to the best of his ability, despite his own fears of failures and distrust in himself. When he stood out of the plug for the first time, his frame practically bending to the wind, soaked in the soup of the synthetic, there was an air of fear in the eyes of those working. He loved it. But the day-to-day regularities of Yeshua's life were recently metamorphosed into an opportunity, one that he didn't take lightly. He tried to see the best in the situation, as he wasn't in control. On a journey to Japan he went, eager to show others the skill he had learnt and surpass them.
