Then a thought hit him, he should probably help unload other things. To the galley it was, seeing what their food stores were and what they would need was probably a better way of spending his time than drinking.... Okay, better but not more fun. He could drink tonight and hopefully tend to a few other sins. Making his way over to the Galley he was slightly excited to see what it was like since he hadn't taken a real look around the ship yet. Jahosafat on the other hand was going to stay in the infirmary for the time being. He was rather meticulous when it came to where he lived and where he worked. He had always been that way. Some people might have said he was a bit obsessive compulsive about certain things, to him it was just good breeding. Knowing that appearances were very important and told a lot about a person. What did it say about a doctor who didn't know where his equipment was or if his examination room or surgery was sloppy. No, that was just a ticket to disaster. He enjoyed a good romp, a food fight, and a good drink - but certain things were never to be touched by romps through the lower tiers of society. At least not in his book. The captain, was pretty much lost in thought that right then. She didn't have Gene to speak with, Jackson was dead, Dorothy was off the ship doing god only knew what at this point with Foy, she was at odds with Daphne right now because of her attitude and feeling as if youth was a free ticket to be a bitch. Which stuck Anisa as almost funny. The girl wasn't young, she was on the wrong side of 25 now,26 to be exact. She wasn't a child anymore and even in worlds were the war had never hit, people her age were at least for the most part not carrying themselves as they were still a teen and knew everything. Apparently Daphne hadn't gone through that mental puberty as of yet. Sitting down on the edge of her bed she had to wonder if that would mean she would be losing her second today. Could Dorothy handle putting Daphne in her place and making her grow up? Would Daphne finally do that and stop acting as if she was special little snowflake? Looking down at the floor, Anisa prepared for the worst - she would lose Daphne and Dorothy soon it seemed, just how it went down was the question at this point. Not that she wanted to lose either, especially Dorothy but she had a ship to run and teenangst in a woman closer to 30 than 20 just wasn't going to be part of it. Not The Ship: Traveling through the west part of town was like going through a maze but thankfully the area wasn't as bad as those with money that lived on the other side of the tracks would have liked people to believe it was. Sure there were plenty of kids trying to pick your pocket but thing was, if you were in that area you were pretty much left alone. The kids there knew, or at least the ones that had been around a while, that trying to pick someone's pocket here could end with your being dead while if you robbed a proper gent chances were you'd just have to deal with the local police. Finding the docks wouldn't be hard, just a few more minutes of weaving through the streets. Over in the Lady Luck things were calmer than they had been earlier. No fights currently but this was the lull before the evening storm usually rolled in. Fewer people and earlier hours meant less drinking, less chance for a fight. Waitresses moved around freely and drinks were poured readily. Though the fact they missed someone meant extra flirting, and sadly for Jacqueline that also meant dealing with the new girl. It was obvious she hadn't been around long, the way she tried to get around people, the constant excuse me's and pardon me's and I'm sorries. She finally got over to the woman and smiled nervously, brightly, and even with a hint of terror in her voice as her lips trembled. "I am SO sorry abouts the waits, what can I get for ya?" she asked as she tried to jut her hip out to look more seductive but only ended up making herself look that much more awkward. Royus chuckled as he looked over Fitz. "Ay, plenty, but also a lot of bullets, hunger, and other things I have had plenty of in my life," he said before shrugging. "I'm too old for that shit," he added with a laugh. "But you, yer fit and young, you have fun out there but hey, stop back by anytime you want. Be more than happy to play another game or just talk," he said kindly. Sighing a bit he finally had a excuse himself to help a customer. The hour was getting a bit later in the day and children were now out of schooling, that meant more were coming in to "browse." The merchant area outside of the toy shop seemed plenty normal. People were shopping and talking, the leather worker had a sign up on his shop that he would be back after his lunch and the place was gated up. The mens clothing shop was still open and the door bell went off as people went in and out. The dress shop was still closed but this time there was a sign up that said it would open up again that evening. Other than that, it was pretty unamazing, besides the kids running in and out of the toy shop.
