Zeroth mentioned this to me and you did say you were still accepting people o3o
Name: Kaze Age (at least 20): 26 Gender: Male Height: 5'8 Appearance: Kaze seemed to be on the short side in comparison to the others he stuck with, normally inches below another villager. But what he lacked in size he more than made up for with muscle. The well-kept beard didn't hurt either. People assumed he was older than he is due to the smokey gray of his hair and the leathery look of his face from all the intense heat he's dealt with. His eyes still sparkle with youth though, a startling bright green. Preferred weapon: Hammer Likes: Being in the wilderness, Working with his hands, Animals which includes the various 'monsters' in the world. Dislikes: Wastefulness, Being cooped up too much, unnecessary killing. Personality: Gruff is one of the better ways of describing Kaze considering his past vocations. He has a no nonsense air about him that is helped along with his naturally agitated look. He's also the type to just get to the point and demand others do the same. Fancy words and beating around the bush were one of the better ways to get him angry. Speaking of anger he has a lot of it and a shortening fuse to kick off the powder-keg that is him. One of the better ways of getting him calm again is to set him a task to focus the anger on. Which is pretty easy considering he's more of a follower than a leader. Short backstory: Kaze has done a few jobs and apprenticeships as he grew up. He first started doing smithy work around the age of ten, being a human and not a wyverian he was already set back a bit. He was pretty skilled but not up to the level of a wyverian smith, so once he hit journeyman, where you're supposed to travel and learn, he changed to a different job. No point staying in a field you'd starve in. So up he went and started checking into being a butcher. There was always work in that! Hunters brought in great beasts all the time that needed to be worked over to provide necessary materials. So his apprenticeship for being a butcher started. He already had the strength from being a smith. Now he needed the finesse to not kill himself with a blade as he took apart corpses. He had a good eye for it thankfully, it saved his limbs many cuts down the line. He learned quite a bit about the monsters during his work, what each one was capable of when it came to breath attacks, the damage that could be done with their claws just by running metal along their natural weapons. But he could never learn the movements because they were dead. During his time as a butcher he also learned that people were stupidly wasteful. Plates and scales made useless by a careless mistake, claws snapped, teeth shattered, meat spoiled. It was maddening to him. You couldn't just weld the stuff back together or unspoil it like you could metal! Kaze only lasted a few more years in that before blowing up about the waste the other workers left behind or caused. He left after that episode and took to wandering a bit. He was always in towns and buildings, cramped up and working on something all the time. Now he just got to enjoy the outdoors, taking in the sights of nature. He was of course wary, having no desire to becoming a predators lunch. Which got him to thinking. Hunters were out here all the time and had the tools to keep themselves safe. Taking up another job wouldn't hurt and he had heard that a volcanic town's hunter had recently retired. So he returned home and used some of his money to purchase a weapon that fit him best, an iron hammer. He registered to be a hunter, doing the small tasks in the local area, before setting out on a new journey. But would he be able to stick with this one unlike his past jobs?
