Why were they shooting? Had they forgotten about keeping their merchandise intact? She'd been banking on such a thing making it much easier for them to get away but with gunfire it seemed far more likely that they'd both end up buried in a shallow grave soon--except, unexpectedly, her benefactor appeared to be far more resilient to gunfire than could have been predicted... though the lizardman also seemed perturbed by the lack of magical support. At least she now had the ability to object to the idea: "I'm [i]nine.[/i] I was taught how to clean dishes, not destroy armies when I couldn't move!"
