It was good to hear of happier times before the end of the world hit. After all, they were human beings before they were required to fight for their lives on a daily basis. It tickled her hearing about the senior class and their shenanigans. She didn't remember a time when her school life was filled with that. At Harvard, there were a bunch of snooty rich kids with their nose in the air. Other than the occasional party, it wasn't a place for much fun. That made her sad. She was thankful she wasn't like that now. Before she met Ray, before she met Newnan, she probably would still be like that, but life had a funny habit of turning around on you when you least expect it. And not so often, for the better. Tiffany glanced up at Amelia talking to Riley. She would have called the girls out on their obvious cutesy romance, but Riley had a serious look on her face. "What do you suppose that was about? Given the seriousness of Riley's demeanor, I can only assume it's more bad news."
