Kaleo is a short and petite boy, who stands around four feet and four inches tall, with short wavy brown hair, sharp teal eyes and surprisingly pale skin from staying inside all of the time. Regardless of the weather, Kaleo wears a teal colored jack with a white shirt underneath, gray pants, dark brown boots, and a black backpack that holds his small notepad and books to read.

Kaleo is a very reserved mute boy with a face made of stone. Most see him as emotionless, as even getting a laugh out of him is strenuous to borderline impossible. Around strangers, Kaleo is distant, his mind usually being elsewhere to avoid being asked anything. He can be very antisocial and shy among most people and Pokemon. However, once he begins to warm up to you, Kaleo is a sweet, kind, and extremely gentle young boy who would stick to you like white on rice. While not as brave as he wishes he could be, Kaleo does hold a wise air about him, despite his age. He's rather smart when it comes to Pokemon, however, since he doesn't spend much time outside, Kaleo has yet to see most of the Pokemon he already has information on, leading to the boy cowering in fear at the sight of their much large real life forms...

[b]Ambition:[/b]
In all honesty, Kaleo would much prefer to stay home and just read some books, but his grandparents ultimately had to beg and plead for the boy to at least think about obtaining his first pokemon. After reading a bit more into it, Kaleo realized how much he could really do once he got his first pokemon. He knew he had a drive to learn how to take care of himself and take of others, so his main goals for this adventure would definitely be to understand what it means to be a battler as well as a breeder who can tend to pokemon when they are in need, the two things that defined his parents for him. Kaleo wants to be like both of his parents so that the other is represented within him, but is obviously conflicted since he doesn't know which one he likes more; he's more or less doing everything so that his parents can be proud of him when they come back.

Kaleo looks up greatly to his parents. Despite note being able to meet them, he's heard plenty of stories from his grandparents on the feats that they've accomplished. His mother was a pokemon breeder who became a nomadic traveler that helped those in need whenever she saw they needed it. His father, however, was more into battling, and even challenged the league after acquiring all of the gym badges. Kaleo nor his grandparents have any idea what happened to his parents. They could be out there, or might as well be dead. Kaleo looks up to them regardless and wants to be like the both of the when he grows up.[/center]

Thahn is a tall old man in his early sixties with long white hair tied in a low ponytail, light brown eyes,
pale wrinkled skin, and a small white beard. He often wears a simple white t-shirt with dark pants and shoes.
Having almost an obsession with gardening, Thahn always has on a hunter green gardening apron with darker pockets.

[b]Background:[/b]
Thahn grew up in Cerulean City, watching as the world went by. He was never the strongest child out there, so he often resorted to other activities like drawing and reading to satisfy his needs. It wasn't until his mother encouraged him to come and garden with her that Thahn found his true passion. While he did enjoy pokemon and their company, he knew battling was not for him. Day after day, week after week, Thahn would spent his time, and evidently the rest of his life, gardening. He met plenty of pokemon that would stumble into his parents garden and play with them before heading back inside. This garden is also where he caught his lifelong friend Hana the Oddish (now Bellossom).

Fast forward a few years to when Thahn has his son, or Kaleo's father, Alto. Alto had to be the exact opposite of Thahn, as all he wanted to do was go out and battle pokemon. Not battle WITH pokemon, but physically attack them. Luckily, he was also a very weak child and could never do much against the small pokemon that would come by his garden. Thahn noted Alto's resolve to be a trainer and battle other pokemon, that he helped his son catch his first pokemon in the very same garden that he caught Hana. Once he was old enough, Alto went out on his own journey, leaving Thahn and his wife back at home.

The days without Alto had been slow and quiet, while the ones where he had come back to visit and tell stories of his adventures had been filled with excitement and joy. One of those days in particular showed Thahn how much of a man Alto had become. He brought home a girl with absolutely stunning golden eyes, light brown hair and bright skin; her name was Kanon. Thahn knew right off the bat that they would stay with each other forever, and to this day, he still believes in that statement.

It was a bit of a shock, when the next thing he hears about Alto is through letter and in the form of a mere toddler handing it to him. Kaleo, only being a few years old was supposedly abandoned by Alto and Kanon, but Thahn knew better. Instead of asking, Thahn took the child in, one that was much more like him than Alto was. He stayed inside all the time, never spoke and read books all day until he passed out. He was a strange child indeed, one that Thahn vowed to keep safe until he was old enough to go out into the world just like Alto did.

As stated in the background, Thahn pokemon of choice is Hana the Bellossom. Kaleo absolutely adores the small flower pokemon and would do anything to keep it safe. Hana would often try to get Kaleo up and about instead of reading all the time, and Kaleo almost always falls for it. Whenever the later is sad, Hana gives as many cuddles as possible until he feels better. Hana basically acts like an older sibling to Kaleo.

Hoshi is a rather bubbly and bold Cleffa, one that isn't really afraid of people and most of the time would actively try to get their attention. He loves battling, and will o anything to get into the fray, but knows when it's time to be serious. Very loving and is always oriented to those that give him attention.

[b]Backstory:[/b]
Cleffa wasn't always sunshine and flowers when he first came to the sanctuary. Only just been brought in, the pokemon was extremely fragile; no one could touch him without feeling the immense trembling radiated from him. After a bit of investigating, it was believed that Cleffa's original home was abusive towards him and those in the house. It took several months for the Cleffa to look at humans, let alone become who is now.
