[i][color=8dc73f]Divine Protection of the Forest[/color][/i] acts like a self defense mechanism that activates whenever Elanil is in immediate danger or when she experience high levels of stress or anger. When activated, a Forest Golem encases Elanil and retaliates against whatever is causing her anguish, however it takes a little while to form. It will deactivate when Elanil's mana has been exhausted or when the target is eliminated. Elanil cannot control this Golem. Yet.

Elanil made a contract with a unique Water spirit that allows Elanil to summon vines and use wood-element magic. However, Elanil doesn't realize this potential at all and will often use this magic to make flowers bloom and seeds germinate. For her to even summon vines or other plants she needs to carry plant material or seeds with her at all times. She will often subconsciously cast such magic whenever she gets frustrated (but not frustrated enough for the Golem to summon itself) and will often attribute the magic to whoever is nearby or just some weird phenomenon.

Like many children who are particularly carefree and careless, Elanil is quite simple and blissfully ignorant. Nice people are nice and mean people are mean. Life is simple when you're Elanil. People that needlessly destroy nature are seen as 'mean' and will be 'punished' accordingly.. Punishment being.. Being told off by a ten year old. While Elanil isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, she can sometimes tell when someone is not being genuine. Perhaps it's some sort of intuition that is unique to children. The demi-child is honest to a fault, thus she is extremely bad at keeping secrets.

Since she was isolated from the rest of civilization for so long, she has very minimal, basic speech and will often say a word or short sentence regarding just about anything.

[color=8dc73f][h2]Background[/h2][/color]
Born to an unknown pair of parents.. You might think someone procreated with some weird demi-human. You're not wrong. But for whatever reason, be it due to her appearance or perhaps the parents weren't ready for a child, Elanil was abandoned in the forest to die. By some stroke of luck, a spirit named Izumi (Water) found the infant in the middle of the clearing. Out of curiosity, the spirit approached her and out of pity, they raised her. Soon Elanil (As they had named her) had naturally become attached to her new parent, having no intentions of finding her real parents. At around the age of 7, the spirit made a contract with her as they believe it was easier for them to protect and take care of her after doing so. 

For now, Elanil lives like a vagabond, moving from place to place without any real purpose other than to just live out her life as she sees fit.
