Adam 'Trails' Wilford- Lexington Adam followed Lorelei out the door and into the street. He could hear Lorelei speak, but the words were gibberish as his mind wandered at the thought of Lexington. The town was too quiet and this kind of desertion set his heart beating as he walked warily. No raiders, no critters, no bots, nothing. His concerns were interrupted when he rammed into Lorelei. "Ow. Sorry, I was, ah, daydreaming a little." Lorelei looked at him funny but shrugged it off and spoke to him. Lorelei said, “If it isn’t locked up tight, this place will be a treasure trove of all things nostalgic and scavenge-worthy.” She pointed out the door. “Lead the way.” Adam looked at the door and touched it, gently running a hand along the handle side of the door and slowly twisting the knob, but it didn't move far. Adam sighed softly, "No sign of traps, but the doors locked.". Adam pushed on the door gently once more, pressing different points inward as it rattled. He stood back and kicked a small spot near the handle and the door broke open, the handle falling to the ground. "Not what I had in mind, but it'll do. Adam turned on his flashlight and looked around as his light shined over the old store, pointing his pistol at different points. "Clear! Come on in, Lorelei." He turned to Lorelei and lowered his pistol, taking his finger out of the trigger guard. "So what're you hoping to find in this place, kid? Or we just going on a day trip and seeing what we can find?"
