Bathhouse, Averine City Docks
Ryker barely moved at the sound of the young boy's voice except to open one eye, his good eye, to see who was speaking to him. "No, I'm fine," he replied, closing his eye again. "I won't be much longer." As he sat, he took in all the noises, quiet chatter and water splashing. He suspected it would be a long while before he could return to a place like this. Even though he had grown used to the mud and grime of the road, it was nice to have the option of bathing in such a comfortable setting. "Actually, I should be going. This may be the last night in a long while that I sleep in a real bed, and I have a few more things to take care of before I can rest." He glanced over at the boy again. "If you could bring me a fresh towel, I will be on my way."
