She wanted an explanation about what happened, more than the quick run down that Atticus had given her when she returned from purchasing the Prometheus. Yet that would have to wait, they had things to do and she wanted everyone on the ship, now. "Dorothy, upper deck, starboard, closest to the bridge. Get your gear and stow it, finish your duties, and then report to my cabin," Anisa stated flatly as she took a pull from her cigarette, placing a lot of emphasis on "your duties". It was about the closest thing Anisa would say in reminding Dorothy of what she needed to take care of. "Foy, upper deck, port, right across from the shuttle access. Starboard side next to your room will be where you will be setting up your chair. Go stow your gear," she added before glancing over towards Harper. "If your done stowing your shit, help get Foys inside." Turning she started to make her way back into the ship, "once everything is inside, I want this ship on lock down until later. Quickly." She wasn't joking. She didn't know exactly what was going on but she would know soon enough and she wanted the ship locked up tight. Atticus had mentioned someone being on the Alliance ship. She wanted her people inside and the place secured before it happened again. Jahosafat remained in the Med Bay setting things up while Atticus was preparing something to eat for the crew in the galley. The smell wafting through the ship slowly. It wasn't anything spectacular but it was better than protein rations. He wasn't making a lot, just enough to get them a bit in their stomach's before dinner that evening. There had been mention of hitting the Lady Luck that evening and Atticus was figuring on a real meal then. For now the padre's snack would have to do. Over in the Lady Luck the girl seemed more and more nervous as the moments went by. Getting Jackie a drink post haste. She nearly split it on her but managed to save it before it took a topple. Nerves aside the girl had quick hands. Cards continued, people kept talking, two boys going on about how they had lost their mark earlier in the day when the bitch returned to some damn ship and was then had others around her. A bet lost but maybe they weren't totally screwed, the others that had had another mark still hadn't returned. Maybe no one made their mark today. If that were the case, then no one lost money. Granted, then no one won either and that sucked. The wrong side of the tracks was proving to take a lot longer to get through than one would have hoped and in fact, once one got close enough to the docks to actually smell it the buildings were too high and it was cut off by walls. Fuck... Would mean back tracking to the main road again. Whoever had designed this city seemed to want to make sure that the low lifes had to go through the main road to get to the docks. It was known that the well to do's had their own road into the docks. There used to be one for this side of town but there had been a lot of talk about closing that up, safety reasons and all. Construction had begun but it hadn't been completed - at least it's completion hadn't been announced. Seemed they had, double fuck. The toy shop was starting to close down for a it, seemed the shops took turns closing down for a quick meal. Kept all the shops from being closed at the same time and kept patrons around browsing. Not a bad way to go about it. Now that the Toy store was closing up the dress shop and the leather worker was starting to open again. It looked to be taking the leather worker a bit longer but he had a larger store front, more open. The dress shop, it was just a simple pull back of the curtains, turn of the sign, and unlock of the door. A woman peeked out the front door and looked around before going back inside, muttering to herself that she wondered why she even bothered to open for the rest of the day before night fall. She sounded rather disheartened. ~Will pick up at dusk, feel free to end your next post ready for the evening~
