In fact, he had never heard of one in his years of hunting. He knew vampires, they were simple and common enough, so too did he know the stranger variants of some creatures, even pagan gods were at least vaguely things Darren had some idea of. However, a mullo was definitely something he had no clue about - and so as people shouted weaknesses and ways of fighting the creature, he was somewhat appreciative, even if he was slightly unequipped. Regardless, the fact that a creature had now revealed itself and was clearly hostile, Darren almost felt relaxed, able to quickly forget and forgive the previous issues as he now was focused on taking down the creature in question, taking a mental note of what he had with him. He had his gun, along with salt rounds, he did have a few iron bullets which would ideally do something to it, not having his car with him, along with all of its particularly useful tools, was a pain, but he'd make do. Reaching into his jacket, he grabbed his handgun and a magazine, loading it as he took careful aim towards the Mullo, waiting for everyone to be clear of his fire before he took three cautiously-aimed shots towards the creature. By no means were things okay in James' mind, and he still hadn't quite had the time to absorb all this new information as much as he wanted to, but James understood well enough that when a threat arose he did not have the time to linger on thoughts and desires of preparation, he needed to act. He listened as everyone around tried to explain how this creature could be defeated. Iron, steel, both seemed fair enough, Decapitation and burning, yes, that would work for most things, he figured. Hawthorn. Hawthorn? That was the bit that didn't really make sense to James, but he forced the thought from his mind at that point, figuring the likelihood that anyone would have anything along those lines unlikely as he took a few steps further away from the Mullo, choosing to stay near people as he watched the creature, unsure of what to do.
