When in reality, she uses telekinesis and sometimes pyrokinesis in her performances. But this power didnt come without a cost. Luciel can no longer change her course of actions out of fear. Even when its needed. Why Luciel Joined the Circus The performers of the circus were the first people that accepted her as a half-blood. She joined them to show that she's not evil as one would think. Her Biography Not much is known about the jester's childhood. Only that she was born a half-blooded daemon, but didnt known who her parents were. She had to don a hooded cape to hide her horns and tail, to avoid conflict with those who "look down" on daemons. Then one day, she found a circus in her town. Unsure if she had to pay for admission, she quickly snuck inside, unaware that her tail would be exposed if she ran, cape in the wind. This circus had Luciel awestruck. Hiding on the side of one of the bleachers, she watch the different acts with amazement. The circus wasnt like any others she went to, more magical than the rest. Afterwards, she was about to leave, when the admission worker had ratted out to the ringleader about a child sneaking in wearing a black cape. She was then spotted by one of the other members of the circus, and tried to escape, but had accidentally tripped on her cape. With her horns revealed, Luciel begged for forgiveness and mercy, a strange occurance. After a while of silence, she was reasured that no one had the means to harm her. The ringleader then asked if she wanted to be a part of the circus. Unsure at first, Luciel agreed to it, and signed her own contract. A Connection While Luciel does get along with the other performers well, theres one that's a bit hard to hang around with without a chat turning into a bicker, Juliet Fortuna. The little mystic is just different from the jester, but even so, Luciel tries to be friends with her, despite their usual foils. The Audition In the perspective of a visitor named Marisa, and her friends Jamie, Marcus, Victor, and Lia. "Come on, Marisa, Hurry up!" Your friend, Jamie, says, dragging you along by the arm. You werent a big fan of the circus like your group of friends, but still taged along out of curiosity. Apparently, this circus had a new member that caught peoples interest, "The Devil's Jester". Sounds spooky. While Marcus payed for admission, you took a look around the tent. Seems this circus was popular, with the outside being packed. Before you could leave your place in the line however, you were once again pulled by the arm, but this time to your seat. The performances were actually facinating. There were the normal yet abnormal acts like a lion tamer and tightrole walker, and fairly unique acts like the spider whisperer, which made Victor's arachnophobia go haywire, and even a "mind-magician". Then the new performer was called out. "Introducing, The Devil's Jester!!" Before you could see them however, Lia had tapped your shoulder, tapped being an understatement. "What?" You whispered. "Look up there.." She replied, pointing to what appeared as a tightrope at first, but then turned out to be a metal pole. Looking down, your heart almost stopped. Hanging from the pole were axes. Big, sharp axes. A total of six, give or take. You finally look over at the cyan and black dressed jester. Her outfit did stick with her title, as she also wore costume devil horns and tail. But you put all that aside. She held a baton to one of the axes before throwing it up, having it sliced in half. Part of the crowed gasped. Yep. Those are real. She dog whistled, and a giant bouncy ball was rolled out for her, along with a trampoline. She turned around, backed up a bit, and with a running start, leaped onto the trampoline, and onto the ball. The crowd gasped again when the jester lost her balance, but stood back up straight like nothing happened. Then the whole tent went silent. The axes started swinging, with a little help. The jester slowly rolled over to the first axe, and flawlessly rolled past it. She seemed to smile then, a trickster's smile, before bouncing onto her hands and rolling past the second, backfliping through the third, spinning through the fourth, irish step dancing past the fifth, and went back to her first postion at the last axe. Kicking the ball aside, and landing on her feet, the crowd slowly clapped one at a time. And you, yourself too. The jester took a quick bow, and left the stage. With the axes halting their swing, and being stored away, for the next performance.
