The man kept his gun trained on her, not speaking a word. What the hell is wrong with her? How can she not know what I'm talking about? Is she out of her mind? He thought to himself. "Hmmmm..." He grumbled aloud, consumed in his thoughts. The severe headache she claimed to have was indeed a symptom of the Virus, but the symptoms did not begin to show until the final stages of infection, and they were all crammed within a three hour span. He did not know of any freshwater pools immediately nearby, be it ponds or streams. While he had never passed through this forest before, he was familiar with its geography. This meant that if she was infected then it would have happened far from this lodge, and by now other symptoms would have been showing. She did not seem seriously disoriented, she had no bleeding from her nose, ears, or eyes, nor noticeable paleness of the skin. She must be clean. He thought to himself. He released his grip on his shotgun and lowered it down to his right side. He did not move however, staying where he was. Still... Could this be some form of trap? Was her purpose to throw him off balance so he could be ambushed? Instinctively, he regripped his shotgun in both hands, but kept it at waist level and pointed off to the left. He finally addressed her after what seemed like an eternity. "Alright, I'm going to ask you this one time," he said intensely,"who are you and why are you here? And, tell me why you lie about not knowing about the Virus. There's no way possible that you can't know about it and what it has done to this country, to this world, these past four months. I want you to answer me, and answer me honestly."
