He was the seventh of a dozen children that were produced by his mother before her body gave out. His childhood was spent learning to speak both his natural tongue and huttese, as well as receive training to be a guard. His natural size and stature made him the perfect body guard for the hutts. In his early years, the trainers soon realized Klaatu was more aggressive than his siblings, often exhibiting a mean streak. His trainers sought to groom this ruthlessness, often making Klaatu watch his siblings get beaten anytime he misbehaved. Soon he became dissociated from his family, no longer feeling anything when watching his brothers and sisters were assaulted. The destruction of his self conscience came when he was forced to fight his remaining siblings (those who had not already succumbed to their injuries) in a bare handed battle royale to the death. Upon finishing his combat training and his ‘education’ he was given to a member of the cartel. Gorag was a small part of the Hutt cartel, only running a relatively small slave operation, with just a couple cargo ships and hired thugs. Klaatu, though disgusted by Gorag, quickly learned how to stay on the Hutt’s good side, as he was known for randomly offing a member of his crew without reason. Though the slave operation was small in its operation, its profit was tremendous, only having to pay its small crew, which could be made off of 1 maybe 2 twi'lek, depending on the size and age of course. Gorag never bothered to learn the languages his slaves spoke, often ending their careers rather than wasting time trying to teach them. Seeing niche opening, Klaatu took it upon himself to relieve Gorag’s current translator from his position by removing his voice box. As gorag’s translator, Klaatu learned how Hutt business was done, how they got their cargo where it needed to be, who not to trust, where to store your credits if things get hairy, he became a sponge for information. Gorag soon began to like and even somewhat trust his translator/bodyguard giving him more and more responsibilities within his operation. With the death of Jabba, Gorag sought to take some of the jobs left in his vacancy. This would mean a much larger hull of ‘cargo’ requiring more ships than they already had. Thanks to Hutt intelligence, Gorag caught wind of a prison ship trying to pass through hutt space discreetly, and saw opportunity to grow his business. Sending all his best available troops on a lone cargo ship, lead by Klaatu, the mission was simple, eliminate the crew, and bring the ship back. After boarding the ship, Klaatu and his gang immediately came under fire by guards patrolling the area. After eliminating the immediate threat of the guards, and capturing the ship for Gorag, Klaatu concocted a plan. Calling his crew, he offered them all an opportunity to leave Gorag permanently, and work for him, in his own business venture. Only half of the crew seemed interested in what he had to say. So he offered that half of the crew double the pay of this job to eliminate the opposing side, the decision was quick. With his crew now reduced in half, Klaatu went over the intercom of the ship, making an offer to the prisoners aboard in the lower deck. Either join him, and work for him and receive a fair pay, or be executed here and now. Before allowing the prisoners to even consider the options, he order his troops to kill all prisoners in cell block D (¼ prisoner population, about 25). The remaining prisoners willingly joined him, some out of respect, others money, but all of them now fear their captain. Returning back to Nal Hutta, Klaatu was graciously received by his master/mentor Gorag. As a reward for a job well done, Gorag had transferred a large sum of credits into his account. Thanking Gorag, Klaatu bowed to his master and left the room as Gorag’s guards unloaded their weapons into their former master. With Gorag dead, and his former crew either dead or on his side, Klaatu took the reigns of what was Gorag’s business and began to make his own name in the universe. He has all the skills brought with basic imperial combat training. An excellent pilot and great commander, Oren was quick to rise in the ranks of the empire. Unfortunately, he made a serious miscalculation, sending his entire fleet right into a rebel trap. The ensuing battle was massive, and could have been a major Imperial victory had Oren received the backup he'd requested. With his fleet destroyed, his ship was soon boarded and Oren was captured after a long gun fight scarring his face. Oren felt betrayed by the empire. All of his men had died because the empire failed to trust his judgement and reinforce him. He was on the rebel prisoner ship when Klaatu and his men took the ship. When Klaatu offered a new start, Oren, much like Klaatu, saw opportunity in a much needed position, telling him he would need someone to pilot the ship.

Ex mechanic for the the cartel, kept all the old junk cargo ships running. Izen was indifferent to the administration change, as long as he kept his head and his pay. Proving his worth, he began offering up ideas on how to improve upon the new ship, and was soon promoted to head mechanic by klaatu and is kept on board the Tartarus, where his primary goal is to maintain and upgrade the ship. he stays in the lower deck,.

Former munitions expert for a Rodian extremist group, an excellent bomb maker. After doing his part to help detonate a republic command post, to help pay for a new ship, he was captured by the Republic. He hates both the republic and the empire, so being offered to join Klaatu was a no brainer. He offered his talent by upgrading and fixing the weapons currently available to the crew. He works out of the Armory on the Tartarus.
Faction Assets: The Tartarus- Heavy Prison ship: 20-25 crew/upto 100 prisoners

4 Lambda transports: 6 crew/ upto 8 prisoners

Collectively about 60 crew members Gorag’s Compound: Gorag owned a small cantina that acted as his base of operations and personal home.
