Love Your Neighbor ~[@Silver Carrot]~ You reach the farmhouse of the Corazon family in the outskirts of Sonarra at midday. There were little to no crops in the fields but that was probably because you could see the people, probably the family, packing up stuff and moving them outside. An old lady sat in the porch sobbing with a young woman beside her. "Tahan na, mama. Tahan na. Huwag ka mag-alala. Magkikita tayo muli." Another young woman, after placing a box on the ground, noticed you. "Ah, you must be from the new guild. You are very brave for coming here as a monster. But we are glad that you are a mighty monster." She greeted you. The woman had light brown skin and wore a simple dress fit for a commoner. In fact, the people here all had brown skin and dressed in commoner attire. "Mama, papa. Narito na yung mga tutulong sa atin." She called her parents who all came to meet you. An old man with a white beard, probably the father, with a small box on his hands nodded at you. "Maraming salamat. My family will be indebted to you... Forgive my Common Tongue." He said before resuming his activity. "I am Maria Corazon." The woman introduced herself. "Great and terrible things are happening. A revolution is coming. Sonarra will be free from Varjo at last." She explained. "My family is headed for the hills but my sister has to flee. She is not ready for revolution. The Varjan army has an unfortunate way of treating young women." Maria took a glance at her sister, the one comforting the old woman who was probably the mother. "We are sending her to work for a kind man in Boreal Port." "And that is what I ask of you. To escort her to Boreal Port safely. Will you do that for us, Miss Centaur?"
Herbal Medicine ~[@13org] (FYR)~ "Hey Freyr, let me come with you. I know you're not the biggest fan of humans but you know..." And the two of you were off and onwards to Ambran. The trip was relatively easy and not much activity. Only riders and wagons passed by, increasing in number the closer you got to Ambran. Though, you noticed Neil looking at the landscape with wonder. The walk was silent for a while before Neil spoke. "So you're a... Viera." He started. "I'm... I haven't really met any monsters in my life so... this is quite the experience, you know? I mean, on the first day there was a lot of monsters but I think you know that they're gone now. Before I could know them properly. We still have Eilidh though. Here's to hoping that she stays." "So uhh, do you mind telling me about Vieras? I really would like to know about your kind. It's... It's obvious that you're not- you're not the run-of-the-mill kind of monsters." He then asked. "And while you're at it, do you know anything about Centaurs?"
Pillager ~[@13org] (BST)~
"We're here to talk with Lord Araghast. We have some... rather personal matters to discuss with him regarding Boreal Port... Right, Absalom? Surely its something he will be interested in knowing. A message from someone from that village, entitled specifically for him. We've came here to deliver it."
"Then let me hear this message and I shall deliver it to him." The Varjan Warrior replied. "And you need to hand over some compensation too for consuming some of Lord Araghast's and his forces' time for your message." But before you could respond to that, Absalom bolted into the camp though not unnoticed. "Hey! Where are you going?" The Varjan Warrior yelled which alerted the entire camp. "Someone stop him!" The camp mobilized to put to catch the boy with the large sword. They mostly ignored you though, fortunately, allowing you to watch the commotion unfold without any impediment. None of the Varjan Warriors had caught the boy before he found his target. You find Absalom staring down a particularly large warrior with far bulkier armor than anyone in the camp. His dark visage stared back at the boy betraying no emotion. When his warriors approached, he raised his hand to stop them. "I take it that I am the one you're looking for?" He asked, his voice menacing. "You... you destroyed my village. Killed my family. Plundered it. Pillaged it." Absalom muttered, his face growing red with rage and tears on his eyes. "It was your job to protect Boreal Port! WE TRUSTED YOU! GAVE YOU EVERYTHING YOU ASKED FOR! FOLLOWED YOUR EVERY WHIM!" The boy cried out, seething with anger. "Why? ...I don't need to know why, I only need to kill you and all of your warriors..." "So you want vengeance." Araghast coldly replied. "Very well. Let us settle this with a duel to the death. If you win, my warriors will all let themselves be butchered by that greatsword of yours. If I win, well... you die." He proposed. Before you could say a word of protest, Absalom nodded. "I accept." The boy then looked at you. "Mister, I know that you offered me help. But I need to do this--" He stopped when two huge hands grabbed hold of his head. Hands that belonged to Araghast. Hands that twisted the boy's neck hard enough that it turned around. Without a word and with only a look of surprise on his face, Absalom fell to the ground dead. "That concludes our duel." Araghast gave the newly-deceased boy some parting words. The Varjan Warlord then noticed you. "Hmm? And who might you be?" Once he asked that question, you caught the attention of the entire camp.
~[@Eviledd1984]~ You arrive at the guild a bit late than intended. Perhaps you had forgotten about it or perhaps you had more important businesses to attend to. But now, you were there and it is better late than never, right? The guild building was in a state of heavy disrepair and decay but you did spot a group of figures doing work upon it, likely repairs. Getting a closer look, you notice that they were Dwarves. The short but stout creatures were known for their engineering and building skills so it was probably a boon that they were the ones repairing the guild building. The Dwarves mostly ignored your presence and continued their work. Who did notice you was someone familiar. "Maria? Is that you? Hey! Welcome!" Your inviter, Bartholomew Barker, eagerly greeted you. "You're a little late but it's great that you're here." Looking at the busy Dwarves, Bart continued. "We've already started, you know? And one of the requests had this for a reward. Not bad, right?" "The others have already undertaken their quests for the day. You can grab one for today if you'd like. Or you can join me in supervising our repairmen." Bart said. "Might I recommend 'Dragon's Dressmaker'? I've got a feeling we're going to get something good from that quest." Refer to my previous post for the list of quests
