The giant fell to the floor with a powerful crash echoing throughout the town. A brief moment passed before the insect's body began to fizzle, almost like an old tv, and continued to fizzle until its body burst into data. Ones and zeros floated in the air as they surrounded what seemed to be a floating black ball. “What … is that?” Kiba asked no one. But was answered anyways by a new arrival. The humanoid digimon Dinohumon, who looked to be injured, approached the group and spoke. “That is a Digicore, Mister Kiba. In a way, it is a digimons soul. And all that data that's flying around is the digimons body.” He said before the numbers began to swirl around, the core being the epicenter. “Ah everyone please watch. This is truly one of the most beautiful sights in all of the digital world.” As the data swirled around the digicore, it began to swirl closer and closer, eventually fully surrounding the core. As the swirl condensed, a random rainbow of colors began shining from the core ultimately blinding everyone there. When the shine ended what stood there was a large egg sitting on the ground, mostly white but with red stripes around it. “As long as the core is undisturbed, a digimon can be reborn. Although he won't remember anything from his life as Kuwagamon he will be able to start a new life as a new digimon.” Dinohumon said as he picked up the digiegg. “Wait, so he's not gonna remember anything?” “Yes.” “And he's gonna hatch into one of those small digimon?” “Correct.” “And he’ll be all small, cute and adorable?” “Er, I suppose.” “Cool.” Kiba casually said only for Wolfy to get into his face. “WRONG!” Wolfy yelled. “He might not remember anything, but a digimon's personality is embedded into their core. When he hatches he'll be just as aggressive as he was as Kuwagamon.” “... but that doesn't mean he's especially evil right?” Wolfy turned his head. “Well … no but-” “Then all’s good.” Kiba cut him off as he grabbed the digiegg from Dinohumon’s hands. “Neh, hatch soon buddy.” He said as he rubbed the digiegg as if he was polishing it. Oi, is this really the guy that made the plan to defeat Kuwagamon. Wolfy thought as he watched his partner. “There's a boy who can hack the world and another who always wears a mask. I still think you're the strangest out of everyone.” Kiba chuckled at this as everyone began to walk back to the castle to inform Norn of their victory. “You sound like my pops. Always telling me that I'm unique.” He said with a chuckle. (Note: On a phone, I'll clean it when I get home.)
