She prefers to go to thrift shops to find clothes that she can make into something new. Not being a big fan of flashy jewelry, you'll only ever see her wear a ring on her left middle finger, which was given to her by an old friend. [indent][color=#832F25]If you had to describe Sevyn in one word, most people would choose terms along the lines of intelligent, adamant, or charismatic. While she can't entirely deny any of those, Sevyn considers the core aspect of her personality to be passion and determination. Her intelligence is mostly based on her determination to do well. All through grade school, Sevyn studied her ass off in order to make it where she is now. She also began learning more advanced material at a young age in an effort to "keep up" with her elder brother. Sevyn is also very creative, especially when it comes to producing music, and craves adventure, thrills, and new things. A generally optimistic, upbeat person, Sevyn is the sort of person to chat with anyone and everyone whether it be on public transport, in shops, or even on the street. Like most extroverted introverts, however, alone time is still necessary for Sevyn to function, and she can’t be with people for excessive amounts of time without feeling drained.

Sevyn is a seemingly calm and laid-back girl, yet is by no means a pushover. She can more than take care of herself, but is smart enough to know when to pick a fight and when to let something go. Aside from being very friendly, Sevyn is a perfectionist who has high standards for herself, and has a tendency to correct other people and nitpick. While being very articulate and outspoken, she does have the mouth of a sailor, and has to constantly remind herself to watch her language when in certain situations or settings. 

Despite all of her shortcomings, there's no denying that Sevyn is extremely dependable. If you ask her to meet you somewhere, she will be there; if she promises to do something, she will do it; if you ask her for help, she will do everything in her power to assist. She cares about people and is innately sympathetic to others plights, she often gets herself muddled up in social movements within her community, and she notices & remembers small things about others. Zahir grew into a 6'2 tall, roughly 190 pound man with a very lean and muscular build as a result of his strenuous and frequent physical activities. You'll often find him coaching a football team or simply working out in the gym. His hair and slight beard is a natural dark brown, which he keeps neatly cut and shaven. His eyes are dark brown, almost black, often semi-closed as if he's always focusing on something. He has numerous tattoos on his body: three on his thighs, a full sleeve on his right arm, and a bible verse on his chest. As far as piercings go, he simply has two earlobe piercings. More often than not, he'll wear one small hooped earring in either of his ears. He has a few scars on his legs, mostly around his knees from football and basketball accidents that resulted in surgery.

Everyone sees Zahir as a "trendsetter." When it comes to fashion, he is always trying something different and creative. He's usually the first person to find about new trends, and more often than not, creates his own. Zahir takes pride in how he looks, and spends a good chunk of time in the morning making sure that everything is crisp and in their proper place. Only on certain occasions will you see him in a plain pair of jeans, a hoodie, and sneakers. He has great hygiene, and always smells faintly of peppermint. He carries himself with confidence and a certain kind of swagger. Many men and women are drawn to his dimpled, sometimes-crooked smile and his seemingly good-boy charm.

Zahir comes off very guarded due to his past. He interacts normally and seems like a really fun person until you start asking personal questions. When not trying to dig into his personal life, he is very funny, and a bit sarcastic and witty. There isn't a joke he hasn't quickly made as a comeback. Much like his sister, Zahir is a social butterfly and has been since he landed on this earth. He could make life long friends in the grocery store line. He is also a big flirt, and often flirts to break the ice with someone. He sees flirting as a fun way to interact and does so just to be playful, rather than to interest someone in developing a romantic relationship. 

The one thing you have to worry about with Zahir is that he is a huge procrastinator. He is a hard worker, but if he has little interest in what you want him to do, expect for it to take forever. He can also be very blunt and straightforward, and always says what's on his mind whether before thinking. He is also very impulsive, and jumps onto things very quickly, not thinking much about consequences​ in the long run.

While each of them having their own separate followings, the siblings are more well known together as the hip-hop duo Maverick. They have opened up for a few artists at concerts in New York and Philly, and have made some good money doing so. They are deep in the underground rap scene, well-known for their gritty, "boom bap" rap style. Always down to collaborate with other artists, the duo also has a few songs out with other popular underground artists. Sevyn, alone, is widely known for her producing skills; she produces all of Maverick's music, and regularly produces for other artists.

Maverick does it all, from flashy double-time flows to deeply introspective writing. Hailing from Brooklyn, Maverick is one of the more political and culture-forward rap groups. Maverick’s music drips vintage New York; From cadences and patterns down to the drum samples, a lot of Maverick’s music is deeply rooted in boom bap's storied tradition.

║ Autobiography ║

Zahir Kane was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Cynthia Kane and a mystery daddy. Two years later, right before the small family relocated to Philly, Sevyn came along. Ever since Sevyn was born, she and her elder half-brother, Zahir, have been practically joined at the hip. Unlike many brother and sisters, the siblings rarely fought with each other, if at all. Their mother taught them from a young age to love and look after one another, so that was exactly what they did. All throughout grade school, Zahir was super protective of his little sister, and vise versa. They did almost everything together: dance classes, singing lessons, jazz band, basketball, and even football. They were voted "best siblings" in their high school yearbook during Zahir's senior year. 

It wasn't until the pair were in middle school, about twelve and fourteen years old, that they began to fall in love with music. Despite not having much money, the siblings' single mother always went out of her way to make sure that they had a blessed Christmas. In other words, they almost always received numerous presents. One Christmas, the two each got their own Drum Pads, and the rest was history.

With artists such as Nas, Tupac, and Lauryn Hill as their inspirations, Zahir and Sevyn began to create beautiful music. While both being great lyricists, Sevyn had the singing voice and was a genius when it came to making beats. Zahir, on the other hand, had the dope, unique flow and thought-provoking, controversial lyrics. When they were fourteen and sixteen, the two created their own YouTube channel and, to this day, post their original songs and covers under the name of "Maveriʞ"

When Zahir graduated, he went to a community college and received his associates degree in business. Much to the disdain of his mother, however, Zahir decided not to transfer to a university, wanting to focus more on his music instead. Sevyn followed in her brother's footsteps, only receiving an associate of science degree in psychology before dropping out to become a full-time producer. Thankfully, the siblings have been very successful; Sevyn makes good money producing for artists from around the US, and Zahir has been featured on a few underground projects. Together, their YouTube channel has just a little over four hundred thousand subscribers. 

Zahir heard about Endeavour Records signing new talent from one of his connections, and got he and his sister a meeting as soon as he possibly could. For the two of them, this is the opportunity of a lifetime, and a great chance at finally having their dreams come true.
