Nice. What state? "OOooOOooOOh look how edgy I am hating popular shows" Allow me to greentext all of these because everything you say is so greentext worthy. >What are gears >What is Shanks >What are the multitude of deeper arcs in One Piece that have almost no filler compared to DB which needed its own adaption to cut out filler >Look at this one aspect that this show didn't use because it doesn't fit the story at all >Also wow look at the Devil Fruit craze DB started I also had an awesome comeback for the last one but don't like the potential implications so I won't make it.
You realize that you just agreed with his point of DB being more popular means it's better... You know I'm farther in OP than you are, right? A SSJ2 moment is something that defines a generation of anime watchers. Everyone and their dog who saw the Cell Games counts the SSJ2 moment as one of the best, most character defining moments in all of shounen anime. No series has been able to capture that on the scale that DBZ did before OR after it, and OP certainly never did. It has nothing to do with stronger forms. Shanks is garbage. He's just the Korrin of OP, built up to be unbelievably strong but never shown to be strong, and only there to be a goal for the main character to reach. We already know that the most likely thing that's going to happen with Shanks is that he shows up to save Luffy and dies before showing why he's so scary to everyone. Trafalgar doesn't count he should be the main character and him not being it is a point against OP. >What is reading the manga >Wow a single scene in DBZ is a more impressive feat and has made a bigger impact on the anime community than all of One Piece >Wow what is comparing context instead of literal in-series events
