Likes to wear shirts with buttons. As his psychiatrist suggested, he wears black shirt to help him slowly overcome the fear for dark places. Skills: Speed Reading: His reading speed is almost unparalleled to his peer and even some adults. Strengths: 1) Rational: Able to think without involving too much of emotion. Does not like to let emotion to dictate his action. 2) Analytic: Able to analyze situation around him and make use of that information. Can see the connection between pieces of seemingly unrelated information. 3)Diplomatic: He knows that not everyone can be as cool-headed as him. Thus, he wants to get on other’s good side, especially those that he considered as valuable allies. He doesn’t have to like that person, but he needs them to like him enough to help him in certain situation. Weaknesses: 1)Indecisive: Sometimes he tends to overthink and overanalyze in order to calculate each possible outcome before making a decision. 2)Trust issue: Having trouble to trust people around him. This would be including his digimon partner as well because for all he knows his digimon could be a spy from the Demon Lords. Besides, he himself spin some lies here and there for his own reasons so why wouldn’t anybody else do the same? 3)Claustrophobia: Related to his past experience (see History). His case is not that severe. Small car and elevator are generally fine for him. But small windowless room would most likely give him a panic attack. Also afraid of going into dark places with no lights on, because, in his exact words of defense:” if you can’t see the window or the opened door, then there is no window or opened door, as simple as that.” Personality: As much as he likes to be rational and calm, he is still a 17 years old teenage boy going through puberty. When he made the wrong decision and/or things go wrong, he would be irritated. He does not like to be told what to do, especially by those who he thinks are moron (although he would never say it out loud or show it on the face). Instead, he would provide “advice” and try to convince the others to take his side. Should he fail, he would then be reluctant to go through with “not his” plan. He is hoping to become a lawyer because he thinks that it’s the most suitable job for someone with his skill and attitude, also it’s what his parents would be happy about. But what he never told anyone is his secret desire to become a private detective. He calls it “hobby job” and should never be taken seriously. When he is panicking, he would take a deep breath and try to clear his mind. He read about this in an article about meditation and it's been working well for him. Has a small habit of labeling people and things, like “hobby job” or “hot headed jock”. Likes to read detective novels. History: His parents’ love story was almost beautiful and lovely: lawyer boy meets lawyer girl in the courtroom, amazed by each other, fell in love, have a baby, raise the baby to become a future lawyer like themselves, unanimously agree to refuse to give the son dinner if he gets lower grades than A+ etc etc… Growing up in his family, his closest friend in high school was a book called “Objection! your honour: How to impress your judge”, the bible for modern law students. He loves it for the witty lines that mixed well with the useful information, makes it more fun to read. On the basis of this book, he started to learn more on analyzing his surroundings and how to twist the truth. His claustrophobia, right. Well, when he was 10 years old, he was kidnapped by one of the bad people that his dad put behind the bar. He was kept in an abandoned cabin in the forest blindfolded all the time. Eventually they caught the kidnapper and save him after almost a week. He swears that he heard weird noises in that abandoned house once but his parents and the doctors assured that he is just in shocked and may be experiencing trauma. So now he must sleep with lights on. What he didn't know was that the weird noise was actually from a Bakemon who stumbled into human world accidentally. It didn't harassed him or anything, mainly because it was busy finding his way back to the digital world. Eventually it was pulled back into the digital world. This seemingly petty incident was the biggest push factor for him to learn how to stay calm in any situation. He doesn't want another hallucination in his head ever again. He convinced his parents to let him install Digi-Protocol on his phone with the reason that he can bond with his friends in study group and he promised that it won't interfere with his study. He also listed down benefits of this apps and how reward can serve as motivation for children. His parents were impressed with his presentation and gave him the “yes”. He didn’t know why he was attracted to this apps at the first place but he sorta convinced himself with the same reason as well. Character Goals: 1. My goal as a writer: well, I don’t wanna play this card but I am gonna anyway. English is my third language. I need to work on my grammar without checking google every five sentences. Additionally, my flow of writing is an issue as well. Sometimes my sentences in a paragraph did not seems related. Lastly, I would want to be more descriptive. I am very bad at that area, can’t really transfer my exact thoughts into words. I hope that this character can be fleshed out in the way I want. 2.Character: He would eventually learn how to trust the right people. And that it is ok to show his emotion and share his real thoughts to his friends. He would realize that emotion is not a blockade for rational thinking. In fact, it is the additional factor when making decision. Other: His favourite drink is hot chocolate. My favourite digimon is Duftmon
