[color=gray]Lillian bowed her head in acknowledgement of what Lucas said. She knew she was being hypocritical, and it shamed her significantly. She didn't respond to him directly, but she made a small nod in his general direction to show him that she understood. She then turned back to the soldier, who at this point, seemed quite up-himself, in Lillian's eyes.
[color=white]"Let the medic do the medic-y things. I know how to treat burns, so do me a favour and bite your tongue. Small talk isn't appreciated when I'm working. And for your information, 'private', if I was a robot that wanted to put [i]anything[/i] inside of you, I wouldn't put it in through your chest. Now shut up."[/color]
She grit her teeth at the audacity, but she also spoke very quietly as to not interupt the ODST as he spoke, seeing as though that would also be rude. She listened while she finished applying a burn-salve to Hunter's wounds, and stood up and away from the soldier once she finished. The thought to stab the soldier a couple times with the needle may have passed her mind, but she did nothing of the sort, seeing as though that could be classified as 'uncalled for'. 

She took a deep breath. She was overthinking and underthinking at the same time. She reached up and ran her hand through her hair, once again pushing it back to behind her ears. Slowly, she lifted up her helmet off the ground, and fastened it back onto her head, then nodded at Lucas. 
[color=white]"I'll follow close behind you. I'm usually a good shot but my arm is going to throw it off a bit."[/color]
She sighed once more, looking down at the bandages she managed to somewhat badly fasten around her arm, which were red instead of the normal white colouring, due to the blood on them. She closed her eyes, counted to ten, then opened them once more, trying to bring some of that spark she was well known for back into her lifeless eyes. She failed, once more.[/color]
