The pair eventually made it to the ticketing booth for the tram, which Vera had been informed by her somewhat street-smarter companion was where they had to go before they could access the system. The queue was fairly long, with several other students of various grades waiting in line in front of them. Like Silas and herself, they had presumably also taken the unexpected day off as an opportunity to go out into the city. When they finally reached the front of the line, Vera cheerfully greeted the staff member at the counter. "Good morning!" She chirped, before glancing at Silas, slightly unsure as she made her request. "Two, uh... tickets, for the ride out to the city, please." Vera then pulled her credit card out and held it out to the staff, who looked up at the teenage girl slightly surprised, but accepted the payment and handed the card back to her with two tickets. "Well, that's done," she said to Silas, handing him one of the stiff paper slips. She then chuckled a little nervously. "So, umm... what do we do with these?" [@CriticalHit]
