Hmm.

Maybe something to do with Egypt?  British occupation probably went differently and you could easily get Egypt becoming independent sooner with the right twists and turns.  The Seuz Canal and Gaza strip might still be in british hands though.

Issue is there's no one playing britain yet so what Britain is like is unknown.  I know they ate shit in the earlier versions though.
