[b]Profession:[/b] Marksman

[b]History:[/b] William comes from a fairly large family; While he’s an only child, Billy has 6 cousins. His father was a BIA agent policing the Warmsprings Indian Reservation. Young William was fairly typical happy 9 year old, though he had an interest in magic.

His family was spared the worst of the chaos, and were among those who started Lasthope. William’s happy life of magic tricks however was disturbed; The number of chores increased as the creation of a safe haven requires everyone to contribute. Billy began training with his grandfather as soon as it became an option.

William exhibited tremendous marksmanship, and had an uncanny ability to remain perfectly still. This caused him to be selected, against Mr. Raintree’s wishes, for the Marksmen program. It  wasn't till the battle of the locks that Billy took his first life, and his second; In fact, William had an eventful battle, and understood his grandfather’s reticence at the youth becoming a marksman.

[b]Skills:[/b]
[indent][b]Quick Hands:[/b] In his youth Billy wanted to be a magician, and started to learn the basic tricks; Most of which were slight of hand or card tricks. These gave him nimble fingers. As he grew older and the world changed William kept in practice as a diversion, even picking up lockpicking for escape tricks.  His fast hands earned him his nickname and hat in a short lived festival quickdraw game.[/indent]

[indent][b]Marksmanship: [/b]William is a natural deadeye. Be it with his rifle, William hits his target every time.[/indent]

[indent][b]Stealth:[/b] William never really got the trick to disappearing from plain sight. However his odd ability to remain perfectly still makes him hard to spot in cover, and has attributed to people forgetting he’s even there.[/indent]

William uses a Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk II rifle with No. 32 MK I telescopic sights. The rifle has been modified with a bipod to increase stability; And the bayonet is affixed to the end. To prevent the rifle from giving a stray reflection, the rifle has been wrapped in green canvas.

While rarely used William carries a tomahawk. It’s purpose is to allow stealth kills at midrange, and defense while serving as spotter. The tomahawk is 16" in overall length, with a 4 1/2" stainless steel blade.

This 7-1/2" full-tang karambit knife is used for close combat stealth kills; And in close combat when he cannot reach his Tomahawk. The 3-1/2" sharp stainless steel blade has a fierce curve.

[hider=Ghillie Poncho]
Rather than wear a full Ghillie Suit William wears an easily donned/removed poncho with hood designed to serve the purpose. It’s length is enough to cover his full height down his back, and ends around his shins in the front. As they move through environments Billy adjusts the look of the poncho to match his surroundings.

The M49 is a fixed 20-power telescope used primarily for long range marksmanship observation. The front end of the body tube extends approximately three-quarters of an inch beyond the objective providing a permanent sunshade. The telescope is focused by turning the knurled focusing sleeve.

William learned to pick a lock in order to perform escape tricks. In his sniper training this basic familiarity was further trained to allow him to reach locked areas.

William’s deck of cards are well handled; They show signs of having been shuffled many times, and a few of them have signatures on them. Billy can often be seen idly shuffling the cards when he feels safe.
