[@Liotrent] Those are all possibilities, yes. I'm not currently giving much thought to the future of the race, however, since its evolution directly mandates the participation of other players at this point. It's written in such a way that its intelligence is directly derived from the species under its influence, and the ubiquitous nature of humans have given it a baseline (elevated) intelligence. 

Typically speaking, when I make characters for a play-by-post setting where anything like PVP might be involved, I make a character that only works if other people don't cheat. While I don't expect people to cheat in this game, the level of other player interaction inherent to the character is part of what draws me to this game. I don't get a lot of thoughtful interaction from intelligent people in my day-to-day life due to some unfortunate circumstances I find myself in.
