Silias Aeson
[@Rune_Alchemist]
Silias blinked several times behind his tinted lenses, trying to process what just happened. He considered possible explanations. One was that the book had been taken from his hands by one more skilled in obfuscation than he was - a possibility he wasn't anywhere near arrogant enough to dismiss, considering he was literally in a [s]library[/s] [s]wizard school[/s] combination library and wizard school. Granted, this would imply that the perpetrator was either a teacher [technically possible, but given the limited number he knew of and their aptitudes the most likely candidate would be the Rune Weaver herself] or a student [which, honestly, seemed more likely - given what Grimaldi had told him about learning from Drow they had an affinity for such magicks]. A second, similar line of thinking, implied that the culprit would have to have some kind of wind-based magicks at their disposal, mixed with some light-manipulating magic. However, given the amount of control displayed when the book was taken out of his hands, it suggested a master of the art would have to do so. But why include that giggle... The biggest clue he had, however, was how each of his bone spiders had become alert the second that mysterious giggle was heard. A feeling of... familiarity. How... "...interesting," he mused. He could simply ignore the book and the odd phenomenon that took it from him... but to be perfectly honest, he was far too interested to walk away. So he decided to humor whomever had wanted his attention and knelt down next to the book.
