This is not a point to gloat about, but rather instead a larger point about the deep seated corruption that had almost won a bid for presidency. This was no secret either - you can read about it for yourself in the article - and was known well in advance, something that was constantly being beaten down as "fake news" or unimportant during the election, yet here it is, in plain view for everyone to see. There is of course some pretty impressive damage control taking place so as to better sweep this under the rug and out of the eyes and mind of the average citizen, again, but let us not succumb to that.
