hey so you all have some idea with trevor when he talks about rumors and stuff. when he was 18, 2 years before they joined up with Lasthope, some of the tactics they used to detour others from their territory included being harassed during the day and night, seeing shadows or people moving through the forest before disappearing, getting arrows shot at them, and trees and boulders suddenly blocking their path. then it escalates to bodily harm, normally traps, getting things like fire arrows and Molotov cocktails thrown into your camp, food going missing or being contaminated. after these failed they would escalate to killing. For trevor being the only son of the commander of fort stevens he was put in charge and trained to basically be their equivalent of special forces. one day a scout came back injured and reported a large group approximately 55 strong set up shop near Estacada Oregon, roughly 25 miles from the fort. although this location was at the very edge of what they considered was their territory His father still sent Him and his team to get the group to move. So Trevor and his 5 best left the fort and headed south west, they arrived in the area in a days walk and set up camp. they watched them for a week, gathering intel on how many where there, what kind of weapons they used, how they reacted to combat, what kind of skills they had, everything. then one dark and stormy night when there was no moon, it was raining, and windy, the team struck. they eliminated all but two guards in the southern section of the makeshift wall, a few of them made it inside where the majority of the group had been sleeping and Trevor went to work dispatching the youngest in the group. mostly teenagers but a few kids, it was something that he chose to do, and left them to come back and attack the others. the team left the same way they came in making sure the guards were tied up and wouldn't be able to call for help, one of them was freaking out and just kept muttering something about "the shadows are moving" thus his nickname shadow. by the time the sun rose chaos had engulfed the group and by the time it was over almost half the group had been eliminated. they did find the note his team left on the gate written in blood, "Dont head north or east" simple and effective. after that they never saw that group again. what bothered trevor the most about this was that he wasn't all that bothered by killing them. so after they got back and reported the mission a success nothing realy came of it until a few months later, one of his guys got a bit drunk and let a few details slip to his wife. and from their rumors and story's spread of him being brutal and ruthless, none of them ever had the balls to confront him about it. these rumors spread further when they teamed up with lasthope, basically making him out to be a boogie man, or murderer, or monster. so thats what the rumors about him are, theres a bit of truth but most of it is blown out of perportion.
