Kenichi followed after Fumika, but before he could catch up to her he heard a voice from behind him, and something poked him between the shoulder blades. As he turned it realized it was the younger looking girl who had some similarities to Fumika. He wondered if they were related, or just had similar tastes in hair styles. Sure enough, it turned out they were sisters, and this girl--hadn't he heard them call her Asuka?--was the younger. Was she just visiting, or had she gotten into Komei too? But Kenichi scratched his head, somewhat confused at her line of questioning. "Well uh, my name's Yoshida Kenichi. We're classmates, both in 1-A, and we ended up sparring each other in our first training exercise. And we made friends after that...Isn't that pretty normal stuff with classmates?" He shrugged. "I mean I guess fighting each other's kind of a weird way to get introduced, but that's just Hero School for ya, right?" Fumika's little sister seemed really defensive of her family, which was kinda cute. Kenichi smiled at her even though she was clearly taking a more forceful stance. When she asked why he was using the -chan honorific, he looked away somewhat nervously and started with a "Well...," but then she accused him of confessing on the first day. He did a double take at that, and couldn't help the faint burning in his cheeks. "What?! N-no, I haven't asked her out or anything! Geez, I know I like to lift heavy things and put them down, but I ain't that much of a Chad. A love confession on the first day, what kinda brass--" He cut himself off before he said something too crass in front of a girl. He shook his head and crossed his arms. "I use -chan and -kun with most of my classmates, I guess cause I'm kinda laid back about honorifics? So far nobody's said anything about it...then again, Motome-chan's kinda the timid type, ain't she? Maybe I should make sure she's okay with it...sorry if it's been any trouble." A thought came to him then, and he tilted his head as he put one hand on his chin. "You're her sister, so I bet you're used to...uh..." He paused. How could he put this non-offensively? "...her behaviors. Is she actually alright? I mean, I know she said she was, but uh..." He held one hand, with a finger extended, over his head. Then he let it droop. "Her ahoge-antennae wasn't puttin' off much of a happy signal, so to speak. And in what little time I've spent with her, that seems to be a big indicator of how she's feeling--even if she's mimicking some other person's expression or emotion." He looked over his shoulder in the direction he had seen her going--towards where everyone else was eating, from the smell of it. "And I'm sure you know how literally she seems to take what people say--At lunch today I actually told her "excuse me for a minute," but I ended up taking longer than that. I feel like if I had just rushed out when the bell rang instead of going back to her she might've stayed there for who knows how long...You've probably had that happen before, huh?" He turned to face Asuka again, and noticed that she also had an ahoge. Maybe her Quirk was similar too? It'd be fitting, since they were sisters... "So I'm thinkin', maybe somebody said something just off the cuff, or without bein' clear about what they meant? Or...is this maybe something to do with Haruka? I don't wanna be insensitive...but, uh, the projection Motome-chan used earlier wasn't...um..." He tapped his leg.
