Having displayed such a powerful scene, Kor would hardly notice anything, let alone anyone speeding past him. In fact, he didn’t even have his eyes open. But words were in writing upon his eye-sockets. And in his mind he could see the world by eyes… of cosmical power. Aegnith Laid down, not knowing what to expect. The corruption rose up. It set itself up to be a body. Headless, she recognized the form it took. The mountain beings servants. A body of Kod . It’s chest was sealed, though upon her touch was opened. The chest plates moved to each side, the lower (lion-clawed) body part embraced her legs and grabbed her heels. The armor now consumed the Aegnith that once was. Her bow yielded from her hands, the armor closed. The two were only one. Thick sharp claws, full extensions of a body that was nearly mangled within. Wings, 4 claws underneath her. With power beyond the imagination of many, out of reach for most, she would command the lightning… but her mind would not be her own. She sought not to save the few trapped within. She sought to reign, rule… to dominate. To be recognized as her own. Her influence did not just stop at the moment of first contact. Puggers are weak and can only command those not incapacitated. Aegniths followers were found to be a lot more capable and thus under heavier influence. It was not long before they kneeled to her, receiving reward proportionate to their allegiance. A few started to look like her in mere seconds, parts of their body covered in the corrupt body of Kod. A body that allowed flight, climbing and sometimes cut through though metallic materials. A few shared the gaze in her eyes, receiving the power to command the corruption within creatures. She had received all this, and more so even. But only she and her brother would receive access to the most powerful of corruption abilities. The corrupt black lightning. She only then received access to her natural state of mind again. Upon seeing such a sight, Sargom first intended to slay the corrupted. Thinking Aegnith and her followers had switched allegiance and sought to destroy her and lead the party to certain death. But the people rallied against her for her previous displays of incompetence. Realizing there was no evil intent in her corruption, she fell to shame even more. She’d been driven from her position and into silence. Kor was assigned as general and manager. Aegnith as leader and way maker. Kor was yet a representative of a minority, though he had not much to manage just yet. And so, he and a few that liked him isolated themselves.. until the time to speak had come again. No one knows exactly where the journey would take our heroes next.
