It was a skeleton crew for the most part it seemed. She had two pilots, both were competent. One had an attitude, one had a past. They no longer had a full time engineer. Anisa opting to let Gideon go for a few reasons. Sure Harper could fill in there but he was now her lead pilot due to circumstances. Daphne could handle the ship but she was a secondary now and while she had a few other skills she didn't like the idea of having to divide up positions. Pilots needed to be pilots. Harper and Daphne needed to learn to not only work together but to compliment each other, be able to read each other and what the other needed. Anisa wondered if that was possible considering Daphne's attitude as of late. Medical was one area that Anisa was not worried about. Before Foy had come in she had made a stop by the infirmary to speak to Jahosafat. It took longer than she would have wanted but seemed the ebony doctor was just as long winded as the ivory barber. Yet she had learned a few things about him now that he wasn't on the clock for the alliance. Turned out even though he was a bit of a classist like his Faraday brethren he was actually a rather funny guy, even managing to make Anisa chuckle a few times, and he was a people person when he wasn't focused on the job at hand. It was nice to see. His history put her a little more at ease when it came to him being lead Medical. Dorothy would still be a secondary doctor for the infirmary but her main duties now were as Anisa's second. Which made Anisa wonder if Dorothy as her second would work. She knew Dorothy would need time to adjust to the job but she wondered if she could handle it, especially when it came to her sister. Dorothy had always been a bit soft when it came to Daphne. Anisa understood it, giving the sisters history, but she doubted Dorothy constantly worrying about her sister was doing either of them any good. At this time she felt coddling the girl was just holding her back and keeping her from growing up. Time would tell if Daphne's attitude improved or not. If it didn't Anisa was going to have to make a hard call. So they had pilots, they had medical. There were other things that needed to be taken care of. Atticus was a Preacher and that really served no purpose on the ship but the man knew how to blow shit up and that did come in handy. He also knew how to guy a gun and how to fight. Seemed that Foy did as well. Seemed that Foy and Atticus were now their muscle. That was going to make for an interesting pair that was for sure. Yet after seeing the amount of time Atticus and Foy had spent together on the Retribution getting to know each other during styling sessions she figured they would be able to work together. That was one less thing she needed to worry about. Yet she still needed at least two more positions filled for the ship. She needed a new engineer. Someone that could focus on the engines and keeping the ship in the sky, do repairs on the fly, not have to leave the pilots seat in the middle of everything. She also needed someone who could be an information broker. Someone that could get in there and get what they needed quickly without being detected. Anisa was still a Browncoat and was working with the under ground. She needed someone who could meld into the shadows and deal with the Alliance. On top of that, it wouldn't hurt to have a Jack of All Trades. Someone who could do pretty much anything to some degree - back up for the others. After Foy was done with his little request Anisa went back to thinking about what she needed for the ship. They were on a decent planet that had a good amount of people. She had heard mention of some of the crew heading out this evening. She would as well, get a feel for the place and start recruiting. The Captain didn't want to leave the planet without a full crew. She would if she had to but ports were usually a good place to pick up a few people - even only as passengers. Passengers much of the time could be turned into crew if needed and it was a good way to see how they did. Locking down her room Anisa started to get ready. Atticus and Jahosafat had mentioned they were going to the Lady Luck this evening, seemed as good a place as any to start. Not only that, but if her whole crew went, she could see how they handled each other off the ship. Having her room locked down let Anisa breath a little easier. She needed the time alone to get ready for the evening. It wasn't every day she was able to take a little bit of time just for herself and she was determined to do just that. She had left her door open and been around the ship some - if anyone had needed to speak to her they had had hours. Anything else could wait now. Anisa finally unlocked her door come dusk. Stepping out she glanced around before heading to the galley. Sure while on duty Anisa kept things fashionable but she still looked the part. Now she was off duty as it were and was taking fully advantage of it. Those that had been part of the crew for a while knew the Captain was a bit of a fashionista. It was one of the things her and Gene had bonded over. So when she stepped into the Galley and Atticus spotted her he just smiled. "Seems the sin for the evening is Lust," he quipped as he leaned against the counter and looked the Captain over. The look she shot him didn't shut him up. "Hey, Lust remember not Wrath!" he laughed. "Yi Dwei Da Buen Chuo Roh." Jahosafat on the other hand had yet to see this side of the captain and he was most pleased with the results from the looks of it. "Well I do declare, you have gone from a Captain in the rough to a sparkling ruby of fortune. I knew I spotted an air of refinement from you but never had I imagined your wardrobe would contain such tantalizing pieces," the doctor said with a tip of his hat. "Captain owns more shoes and ascots than you and Foy combined most likely," Atticus laughed. Anisa just rolled her eyes and stepped over to the com. "Captain speakin. Those comin to the Lady Luck meet on the dock. We're leavin." Short, sweet, to the point. "Do let me have the honor of escorting you Captain," Jahosafat said as he stepped over to the woman and offered his arm. Her brow rose slightly. "What do I get out of it?" "Other than my illustrious company? How about I tell you why I call my dear friend Fuckin' Foy?" "Thought that one was obvious," Atticus quipped as he waltzed past the two of them and headed down to cargo and the main hold. "Hardly, it has to do with a rather colorful tale involving a Brandy Sniffer, 6 ounces of caviar, a saloon door, one white glove, and a rodeo clown," Jahosafat chuckled. Anisa found herself shaking her head quickly in disbelief before taking the mans arm. "You have my attention." Walking down to the cargo Anisa unlocked the Cargo Doors and opened them. Stepping out to the docks she looked around at the setting sun and breathed in the evening air. Tonight seemed to be gearing up for a hell of an evening if the way things were going down at the Lady Luck were any indication. The later the day came the more people were crowding in, yet there were still a few empty tables that were being reserved for larger parties or high rollers. Dinner was finally tarting to be served, waitresses walking around the tables quickly and offering menu's for the evening. While the Lady Luck could have been thought of by some as sort of a dive, they did their best. The drinks were always flowing, the cards were always being dealt, and they have one of the best chef's on world to cater to most any taste, even outside of the bedroom. It was the place to be tonight.
