[indent]Jerus is a rather interesting kind of intimidating. While he only stands at five feet eleven inches tall, between his muscular build and the fire in his silver eyes that rests under cobalt blue hair and his black and red training Gi, he’s perhaps the scariest looking person you’ll ever meet. [indent]Contrary to his appearance, Jerus is a good natured person who likes to look out for the little guy, which is why he leads his Gonjoda Dojo. When he does step into fight, he’s fierce and fast, not to mention terrifying. He approaches every fight seriously, but he knows when to hold back and when to go all out.[/indent]

[b]Background[/b]
[indent]Jerus Goran was born to the couple of Hank and Leslie Goran, the former being a professional martial artist and the latter being a school teacher. Growing up, there was, as a result of his mother being a school teacher, a strong emphasis on his education, especially when it came to high school and prospective college, but the young man also had a burning passion for martial arts, specifically his father’s Gonjoda style. He practiced under his father’s tutelage in their backyard for two hours a day after school and for one hour before, but the two hours always took place after homework was completed. During school hours, he was known to shut down bullies and others who attempted to pick on those weaker than themselves, though he often got in trouble for standing up for others because it often lead to fights.

After he graduated high school, to his mother’s horror, he joined his father in the tournament circuit, attending those he didn’t compete in himself to watch his father. The training he did after that intensified, with his father spending every moment he could increasing his son’s endurance, strength, and speed. The thing about Gonjoda was that it is a simplistic style that allowed the chaining together of several powerful attacks in quick succession while allowing numerous defensive maneuvers should an opponent find an opening.

After spending three years in the tournament circuit, he finally left it, opening a Gonjoda dojo within Central Capitol. His prices were incredibly low and there were many instances where he allowed someone to learn for free, as he knew that many of his students were using the moves and stances he teaches to defend themselves against bullies and the like. Three years later, his dojo is doing incredibly well and many of the teens and young adults in Central have some degree of self defense training thanks to him.[/indent]
