The ground pulsed with a blue light, as a bouncing Melody Winters materialized in the center of the glyph, brimming with excitement for the start of a new school year. She stretched and looked around at the familiar school grounds, before hurrying off to clear the way for newly arriving students. She stifled a yawn and smiled, her mind swimming in the sea of possibilities to come, and rubbed her eyes. If she had the self-control she would've slept earlier to make sure tiredness wouldn't be an issue, but how on earth could she of ever manage that when she was looking forward to tonight so much? Given this, she defiantly fished a travel mug out of her bag and sipped on the succulent nectar that was vastly oversweetened coffee. The hot coffee stood in stark contrast to the chilly night, not only helping to keep her awake but also to warm her bones. She was dressed well for the weather, wearing a light pink down feather coat and blue jeans, but still, midnight isn't by any means the warmest time, even if it was technically spring now. Melody leaned back against the dorm building and decided to spend some time watching the incoming students. She smiled to herself, already beginning to feel rejuvenated. As more and more people filed into the grounds, the excitement and jovial feelings that permeated the crowd was reinvigorating Melody a fair bit, enough to the point that the exhaustion she had entered with was quickly fading away. She continued to sip at her coffee as she watched her peers return for this wonderful new year.
